  • @forwardtenth Sorry for not replying sooner, David. I'm a player. Currently I'm using a Technics KN3000! I love it, especially the theatre organ sounds. I'll try to upload something as soon as possible. I went to see Brian Sharp last night and I'm currently uploading snippets from his concert...

  • Everything about this video makes me smile, and be proud to be British!

  • @xepps1 Thank you for taking time to listen to my version of this classic piece and making comment. To be able to feel proud to be British is most certainly a bonus.

  • Nice 1, well played. Don't worry about the boaring farts who don't like what you're doing I bet they can't play like you can. Oh What are the chords to that nice peice of music? I play a lot of the old stuff as I was saying before. Cheers again from Rich

  • This just makes me feel so happy.

  • That's great! Off to Hunstanton this weekend : )

  • @oneworldfamily Thanks for your comment. Have a good weekend. The Norfolk coast is a bit far away from the Tower Ballroom. Regards David

  • I enjoyed that, even though I prefer the piano to the organ. Thanks.

  • I have returned to playing the piano after some years of just playing the keyboard. But some tunes are still best played using all the accompaniments of the keyboard. Thanks for commenting. Regards David

  • thats really good! love it!!!

  • OMG! That's so great!

    Greetings from Spain

  • Glad you liked it. My wife and I have just returned from a few weeks holiday in spain and we are feeling a bit cold just now until we become re-acclimatised

  • Hi, can you please make a tutorial?

  • I have not considered a tutorial. I would not know where to start. What would you expect to see in a tutorial. Regards David

  • Hello again David,

It would be nice if you just showed us what notes you play with each hand or even if you played the song only a bit slower with more of a view of your hands and the keys so we can see what you have to play.

  • You are a noble knight of keyboards!

  • Thank you for your comment. I pleased you enjoyed my effort. Regards David

  • Wow!! For a minute, i thought Reg came back from the dead when i was listening to you play. I love the introduction with your own added hand beats. I couldnt believe that a simple keyboard could have such a realistic sound as yours of the wurlitzer. You have a great talent. 5 stars. Keep it up!! Kind Regards, Paul

  • Hi Paul. Thanks for your kind comments. As for the keyboard, it was the Yamaha flagship instrument (of 13 years ago)It still has some very good sounds, however, there are keyboards now with much better sounds these days. Check out kevdave1 - Tico Tico. Regards David

  • Thank you for your kind comment. I am practicing up for another theatre organ sound march medley at the moment. I'll let you know when its on. Regards David

  • Reg would be proud

  • Nice choice of songs! I think I may "borrow" the selection for a medley on the miditzer for youtube in future if that's ok with you.

  • Gotta agree with the Doc, tis a very nice Theatre Organ sound on that keyboard.

Wonderful Blackpool-style bounce to your playing, Reg would have been proud! Five stars.

  • Thanks for your comments.I have(of course) checked you out and have spent a happy hour watching theatre and other organ vids by your friends and from related vids. My effort sounds more like a penny whistle in comparison to he comptons and wurlitzers. but I enjoyed doing it.My wife says I have become a monomaniac since discovering You Tube.( Look it up)

  • Hehe, no penny whistles there I can assure you, and your efforts would sound brilliant on a WurliTzer or Compton.

Haven't heard the term "Monomaniac" in a while, but I suppose it does ring true for anyone relatively addicted to the internet, which is about 80% of us at the last count!

  • Excellent TPO sound. 5 stars! Great stuff. Now can you do 16 tons on that?
