I am Filipino and i am a Steve Perry fan way back in college. I actually have Steve Perry's Album (it was still cassette tape that time) and also Journey's.

Never in my wildest dreams did i expect that a fellow Filipino will one day get the same spotlight as "The Voice". I still am a Steve Perry fan and nobody can take that away from him. Having said that, i am happy for Arnel Pineda. He made it because he has the chops and he just happens to be Filipino.

Thanks for sharing, before going to the concert, my nephew don't know much about Journey, he said what is so important. And when i call him he was so happy and really like the concert especially Deen's drumming.

Journey maybe loses some fan, but they gain another bunch of younger fans too!
