  • u ruined it

  • Its a Austin Healey Sprite Mk I 1959, with a fiberglass bonnet, I dont know if its a sebring bonnet or not I started with. I got an cracked old fiberglasbonnet that i modefied and made a mould of.

  • Now is this actually a Sebring Sprite or do you just have the Sebring bonnet on it? Great looking car, must be a little rocket!

  • This is not a Austin Healey Sprite Mk I 1959, 59's are bugeyes/frogeyes, this looks more like a Sebring Sprite, look it up man it's a great little piece of hitory. Greetings

  • Hi Ajden, im currently in possention of a sprite, mk 3, 64 model and looking to give it more 'umph'. may i ask what you've got under the hood?

  • I got a turbochargerd 2l Fiat twincam engine.

  • nice car i can see the idea of lots of power but original cars are a lot more appealing

  • damn....that is just terrible looking, what were you thinking ???

  • Way are people raping such cars?

  • looked pretty toasted to begin with...

i tire of comments like this... putting a rotary into my 'raped' sprite....

  • Ever read the fabulous trashwagon? Ugly but goes like stink I bet

  • nice job, i'm workin on a 59 want to upgrade fr suspension.need help

  • take a lok at the picture on my hompage and uou will se my front suspension, if you need some more information send me an e-mail, you fund the adress on my homepage.

  • why white and yellow? nice brtish racing green with a black stripe would suit that nicely

  • Now it's solid yellow in the film I haven't painted all parts that's why it's in several colours.

I choice yellow because it locks god together whit carbonfibre.

Visit my homepage to se it finished

My next car going to be painted in British Racing Green, it's the Bentley EXP replica that you can fins some videos on.

  • Nice work man I see you put ALOT of work into it just as we did with ours, check out my video of it, its pretty sweet, luckily ours had been well taken care of so there was barely any rust.

  • lovely car, 5 star

  • damn that thing is ugly.. sorry

  • I would say I saved it. When I started the project the car was in really bad condition. The entire floor had rusted away it was crashed and there were almost no standard parts left on the car. And I had already restored one original Sprite. You can se more of the original restoration on my homepage and also how bad my Sprite was when i started it.

  • why the hell would you ruin such a classic!!! leave it stock damnit!!

  • hi nice ! very nice what engine are you using what sort of times does it run 1/4 mile 0 to 60 etc , oh yeah what rear end is that based on

  • The engine is a Fiat 2l TC from a 131. I haven't had time to rebuild it yet only change the oil pump that's why I don't run more boost then 0.5 bar right now.

I haven't test it on 1/4 - mile or 0-60 because its not build for drag racing, maybe some time in the future I will test it.

The rear axle is based on Ford Scorpio parts, now I have built another axle that is lighter then the one in the film.
