I played MS and gotta say, I liked it for the first 10minutes as it had a retro feel. Then I realized, that's all the game really had and dumped it. Although it wasn't a great review, I personally enjoyed the whining and for the MS fanboys, suck it up and go play the game till the next Bleach episode releases. But then I hit that little snag called grind and ... well, as anybody who's ever played the game can tell you, the grind really kills you after awhile. Sure, there are "Party Quests", but those are just basically grinding with multiplayer slapped on it, and doesn't really resolve the problem.

all i hear twist ranting about is the community, and i couldn't agree more. economy sucks big time at MapleStory, but when you put community aside, it might get a 5/10 i tried MapleStory few years ago. and if there's something you can give this game, is that it updates a hell of alot of times. if i'm not mistaken the global version is at it's 90th or so update, we're talking about a game that has been out for 4 years. that adds up to an average of 2 updates a month. stay in school, kids...

Yep that was extremely biased... I play the game... a lot... but I found a guild that has a lot of sensible people that are actually fun to play with. Actually... most of the people on my server are nice, sensible people (except for a select few.) I played on Mardia.

You know, 1.5-2 years ago, Maple was actually decent. There were problems with gameplay, hackers, GMs, but the players were friendly, helpful and chatty.

You don't need to buy the expansions till you hit lvl 58. There is a shit load of content without the expansions.

Yes warcraft is updated but most updates are just model reskins or just model stat updates so your using the same kind of gear that a warrior will use on your mage

no it fucking dosn't the gear and items are integrated into the game world.
The only thing the expansions give is new land and new instances ,raids and races.
If you got buy a fucking toy trains in daralan you can still sell it to someone who only has Vanilla wow.

and you can't even raid really till lvl 80 which is why i said YOU DON'T NEED TO BUY THE EXPANSIONS TOGETHER.
you can wait till lvl 58 which for new players will take around a few months unless they look up quick lvl guides .
to play Wow you do not need to buy all the expansions at once is what im trying to say here cause you can't even get into most content till 80

Yep that was extremely biased... I play the game... a lot... but I found a guild that has a lot of sensible people that are actually fun to play with. Actually... most of the people on my server are nice, sensible people (except for a select few.) I played on Mardia.
BTW, I'm a furry, i watch anime, and teared up when that girl died that I can't name right now in FF7, and i guess my Girlfriend is too....
BUT, I'm not the hardcore kind, I have a brain, unlike the others like me...

I find Alt Tab a pretty knowledgeable reviewer, and he's totally honest about his views.
For this specific review, I think it crosses the line between amusing trashing like Angry Video Game Nerd tries to do, and venomous. I mean, it's obvious he really, REALLY hates this game, instead of just poking jokes at it's expense (There's a difference.)

ya i downloaded it, i saw a bunch of lists of free mmos that were good and this was up there and i was like sure, ill give that a go, it was the biggest grindfest EVER, and i've played a few mmos, i can handle grinding...but wow.... right from early levels took me 45m-1hr to get 1 level...this is 10+ and i saw videos of people over level 100 and im just gobsmacked at how grind-tolerant those people must be

Well..If you get a bit far in the game, it's actually pretty good. Although I still can't tolerate all the weeaboos, NX whores, narutards, kill stealers, scammers, hackers and 13 year olds.
I mean you're on a boat ride and you look around, a million of the things I listed..
Gameplay is pretty good once you get deep in the game, especially if you're a chief bandit.
IMO i'd rate this a 6/10

I play Maple Story, and im not one of those anime loving freaks...
im a REAL Maple Story player im not a douche to people in the game and i work hard to get my character high level. If you really take the time to learn the game and play through it, it can be really fun! Oh btw if you comment this game and say it suck because you got to level 20 and it was to hard... your a fag, level 20 is bullshit! if you want to play this game the right way get to at least level 70!

You know, 1.5-2 years ago, Maple was actually decent. There were problems with gameplay, hackers, GMs, but the players were friendly, helpful and chatty.
I don't know when the place went to shit, but I miss the old community.
