If I were to take a section in my medium layers, it'd just go halfway to the other side too... so you should grab a section in your longest layers. Make sure you divide your hair the way I did at the beginning of the video :D. If it still doesn't reach, try making your braid thinner.

& Yeah, I've been getting lots of requests for the highlights, so I'll try to do it. I can't find my bleach kit right now though, so it might take a while ... but my highlights are blonde (:

Teehee yeah. Black is a really hard color to lift, so you'd have to bleach it again and it should turn blondish :D.

I opened the bobby pin and put the braid between it; then, move the bobby pin a little back and then push it forward. I did this same method in my "Edgy Side Ponytail," so if you want a closer look, check out that video (:
