This is better than Bathory's original version for one reason, and one reason only...you can actually HEAR and UNDERSTAND the vocals! Never thought i'd say that about Cradle of Filth since all Dani does is scream and you can't ever understand him but...okay...this is a damn good cover. Better than the original. Sue me for saying that! Sorry, but the Bathory version just has UNINTELLIGIBLE VOCALS that are MAJORLY DROWNED OUT by rather BAD production or backing tracks. This one doesn't. =/

@hansbananendans Bwhahahaa shame on me for having an opinion. Just because I use the name Fylth doesn't mean I HAVE like Cradle. I own Midian album but that's ( in my opinion ) the only good one I have heard from them. I can't stand Danis whiny vocals and the rest of the music doesn't pique my interest at all, it's rather boring and sounds like any number of generic metal bands out there. I love Bathory so i had to give this song a listen regardless of what band was playing the cover.
