If you're sick you probably need vitamin D. people get sick this time of year because they don't/can't get enough sunlight exposure and D levels drop leading to a compromised immune system. Just supplement with 4,000-5,000 IU's of vitamin D3 along with some vitamin C. I do this and I never get sick. HTH

I'd say there's a lot more than 1 million who have given up looking for jobs. I'd say there's about 5-10% of the US population who can't find work and have stopped trying, living of savings or relatives and hoping they can ride it out.

I'm in Vancouver and the Olympic propaganda machine is in full swing here, trust me. You're not allowed to protest or even complain about them, even though they will bankrupt my province and leave us with increased taxes for 20 years. Such a scam.

I was laid off 2 weeks ago (UK) and I don't think I'll be on any government figures.

I've no intention of signing on for dole as I have my own money for a while.

I've applied for several jobs but I'm not going to break my balls over it, as there aren't any jobs out there.

I'm going to put my effort into being self employed and approaching clients myself.

It will be difficult but easier than trying to be an employee.
