Lizzy Borden is a great Heavy/Power Metal band or at least they used to be before the 2 last albums. In these album the kept a big part of their music stule but they change completly their appearance...for me there is no lizzy borden after 1989. Its ridiculous this band to dress in gothic style. They played Heavy Metal so what is the point to this appearance? Today i will see them live..BUT I HATE THEIR APPEARANCE AND THEIR LAST ALBUM!:P

this band are soooo fuckin amazing.. i saw them this year at Wacken open air and it was one of the best shows of the whole festival. despite the fact that they only played for 30 minutes..
it's nice to see Lizzy reinvent himself without selling out. This is a great album, and they look fantastic live. He's gotta be about 50 now, hard to believe....

Good sound: they are amongst the few who have understood that being heavy doesn't mean using too much overdrive and exagerated distortions. It's beautiful findind some band that don't use those fucking active pickups, which confuse the sound and make it plate and not dynamic at all!
THat was pretty good man... I lost touch with Lizzie Borden after Matuszak left and esp after Master of Disguise. Their drummer is really, really good as you can hear on some cuts on Psycopath, Save Me and others.. Wish they would ditch the makeup.

it's nice to see Lizzy reinvent himself without selling out. This is a great album, and they look fantastic live. He's gotta be about 50 now, hard to believe....

I always ranked this band way above the ratts and poisons of the world and never really put them in that category. They may have had big hair but they were way better song writers in a dark direction. Psychopath was one of my favs by them.
I'm glad to see they are still putting out great songs like this one.

Good sound: they are amongst the few who have understood that being heavy doesn't mean using too much overdrive and exagerated distortions. It's beautiful findind some band that don't use those fucking active pickups, which confuse the sound and make it plate and not dynamic at all!

THat was pretty good man... I lost touch with Lizzie Borden after Matuszak left and esp after Master of Disguise. Their drummer is really, really good as you can hear on some cuts on Psycopath, Save Me and others.. Wish they would ditch the makeup.

Your right MTS is their best but I think the thing that held them back besides his fro was probably a case of to many bands before or around at the same time doing that schtick. Make no mistake about it though 90% of those bands had nowhere near the talent Lizzy Borden did.
