just my opinion but i think you should have gotten a wide toothed combed and went through JUST the top ROOTS of your hair to break up those parts sections and it looked kinda dry try using a product that gives you shine and movement ...just trying to help thats all.

I usually wash my hair in braids to prevent my 4a hair from shrinking 50% it length. Then i apply unrefined coconut oil to my scalp and end to air dry over night with a towel on my pillow. Nice video hun!

I think you should try the Oyin Shine and Define, I think you would LOVE it's results especially with the honey hemp conditioner. :):):)

I just tried their entire line for a twist out and it came out fabulous.

- For the most part, I tend to use the same products, except when I am in experiment mode, then I use different things to see which yields the best results!

- I trim my hair about once every 4-5 months...Although I am about due for one now...like a MAJOR trim..

how do you maintain the moisture in your hair without it frizzing up too much? Usually I can only wear braidouts or twistouts for a couple of days max because once I get any moisture on it (anything with water in it), I'll just have to completely re-braid or twist because the definition is gone.

@beatstopper I do the Satin Bonnet thing at night. If it is a bit humid in my house, I will wear the bonnet even when I am not sleeping. The bonnet keeps my hair defined, and this look can last me about a week without doing anything to it.

@MopTopMaven Oh, ok. I guess I need to use a more defining product to set my twists and braids, because if I don't re-moisturize my hair after a couple of days it starts feeling really dry and I don't want it to break. Maybe I will give that oyin honey hemp leave in a shot.
