  • There's nothing more wonderful that watching a person work food with their hands like that.

  • bonjour, Je n'arrive pas a ouvrir la vidéo ???? can't open the vidéo???

    what is the problem..

I would love so much to get this recipe, as I do like bourdain very much.

    thanks for the help....

  • The name Wonderbread came about when the guy who made it asked "I wonder who is willing to eat this garbage?" True story.

  • I eat bread, therefore, I am.

  • Cet homme est un artiste.

  • Those baguettes look incredible.

  • The music at the beginning was oh so good. any idea how i can find out what its called?

  • FUCK STARBUCKS

  • Antiks72, Yeah I'm sure vegans evertwhere really care about what you think. Eat your bacon and meat till you choke, then die.

  • Gad I don't know why but I can't stand Anthony Bourdain. Never seen his show, but seeing this video the guy rubs me the wrong way. Could be because I'm a vegan, bwhahaha! So sorry, but I thought I should comment. Everyone has their own likes/dislikes. Everyone here thinks he's all that, well good for you. ~Peace

  • @bubblebathgrl What is it about vegans that they're forever telling you they're vegans? I'm a meat eater, and I can't recall saying so more than a half-dozen times in my life, usually in answer to a question.

  • @jlewisda

Well, I don't know what other vegans do, however what I find amusing, is why meat eaters are compelled to reply to a vegan's comment. Interesting... The recent National statistics for eating meat are horrific regarding heart disease, stroke and cancer. It's sad really. What I am seeing is the huge consumption of bacon. I can't believe meat eaters behave like lemmings when watching burger comercials and or the cooking shows, companies who could care less about your health. Take care.

  • @bubblebathgrl Correlation doesn't equal causation you dip shit. It's all about genes, sweetheart, not diet.

  • @Antiks72 Wow, then you parents were brother and sister dip shit? That explains it. Reply if you will, this will be my last comments. I don't have time to deal with nats like you.

  • @bubblebathgrl WAAAAAAAAAAA

    cry me a river.

  • @jlewisda Yeah, really. I saw one lady with her entire prius plastered with pro-vegan messages. Hey Vegans, fuck you.

  • @bubblebathgrl You really should give him a chance. I agree that the meat consumption in the US is absurd, and increasingly grotesque, but I have learned tons from his show. If you love food you should at least watch a few episodes. He can be a little harsh about people he sees as pushing away from good food, but it comes from his experience with food, not from ideology.

  • @renminballer

Yes, your are right of course. and I do love french baguettes. And as far that goes, it is vegan. :)

  • @bubblebathgrl Sucks to be you.

  • what episode is this from

  • "I eat bread, therefore I am" LMFAO Tony. Hahahaha

  • Guy with the hood looks like he's gonna rob the place! Give me your baguettes and make sure they're hot! Oh and, throw in some pan du chocolate too or you all get it!

  • the french always knows when the bread comes out? tony my friend, the shop has the closing and opening time at the door, the french read the door signs. haha. pascal was like, wtf, like yeah, we know.

  • A mon avis, M Bourdain est le meilleure personne en le monde.

  • Love it...

but I hate the shaky camerawork that's so popular lately. It makes it hard to see what's going on and actually *learn* something.

  • I have so much respect for people who just love something so simple and work so hard to prefect it.

  • Bourdain's show is the BEST food show ever produced.

  • I am a baker and I know this passion!

  • Theres notting like the smell of fresh warm baked bread..delicious!!

  • One of those croissants, fresh out of the oven, with a cup of tea and some fresh berries would be a breakfast fit for king.

Watching stuff like this is only strengthing my crazy idea to make my own homeade croissants as part my Christmas baking.

  • feeed the biitch

  • Yum, I love bread

  • Baguettes are my favorite sandwich bread. Yum yum.

  • Mm, freshly baked baguettes ... Freshly baked ANYTHING and you got my attention.

  • Não só um pedaço de pão é um pedaço da França. Muito bom!

  • There is nothing like the smell of fresh bread.. It is food porn!

  • love this

  • i wish i were an early riser, it would def be a baker, no question abt it

  • "He has not taken his valium." haha

  • Whenever I'm grabbin a meal, and happen to be near a pc. Hop on youtube, watch a no reservations episode, makes the meal taste that much better.

  • That's what I do too!!

  • If you want to see the full Paris episode of No Reservations, Lammy0001 has it.

  • What are the white grains he's putting on at 0:33?

  • @Lamangelow

It's really coarse sugar like you get on top of some muffins.

  • @commie39 Ahah! Thanks!

  • Bread. French bread.

    No-one comes close.

I fucking worked in a restaurant in Bourges,1982. Fuck, what days..

  • Bourdain is a french born in NY, his family was franch, he's cool

  • This is Great show about bread

  • the first customer saw the tv crew and decided not to rob the store

  • Hey! That's racism, cool!

  • utube totaly sold out with the "intro commercials"

  • afaik its the channels choice, not youtubes.they decide the areas where the commercials are shown and so on, youtube just follows the order. for example, you seem to get the ads. apparently finns dont, but you do. i get british ads and CBS ads

  • this is my future job. baker. i love bread so much if it didnt make me gain a ton of weight i would eat it all the time.

  • @red2138 No one likes a skinny baker! Eat all the bread you want!

  • im trying to find out too

  • Mmmm, I love bakeries!

  • there is nothing like waking up for breakfast with a good baguette with butter and some confiture. yum yum yum!

  • Love bread, the love smell, love making it, waiting for it to rise, proof and bake.

And Bourdain was a Great interview, very nice guy. 5*

  • i love crosscrests i think i spelled it right xD so flaky and buttery x) now i wanna eat them but i got none :(

  • baguettes, real butter, raspberry jam.

    nuff said.

  • what about baguettes with Cresco and Dingoberry jam? I heard some people are into that.. LOL

  • Nothing smell better than freshly baked bread. Yum.

  • This is porno.

  • Classic, premium food porn.

Bourdain is the best for food porn.

  • I'd feel better about myself if these baguettes (rhymes with...) were shaped like breasts or something feminine. As it is, I'll just have to live with the part of me that read Freud in college. And admire the view outside of my foodie closet. But if putting on a dress and my wife's pumps would get me to that bakery, then pass the damn lipstick.

  • I think Ramsay is better for food porn.

  • No fucking way! Ramsay sucks! Bourdain rules!

  • They are both great. They even like each other.

  • Damn, I was thumbed down hard for that. I admire both of the gents, but I enjoy Ramsay far more because as I have yet to see Bourdain really cook.

  • @mct0818

I ve been travelling all over the world more than 30 years and I can tell : There is no place on this planet where bread and croissants are better than in France ! It s unbelievable but there is in such a simple thing like bread a difference.

I never got so good croissants as in France, except sometimes in Tokyo and Dakar. My wife says : You can taste if something has been cooked with love.

    Bon appetit !

  • @tuner049 You are right with croissants. And maybe your are right with white bread. But the best bread nation is in my opinion germany.

  • @mct0818 epic meal time is the best

  • wow, i love that video

  • ohhhh what i'd do for those fresh baked bread and pastries....YUM!!

  • What is the song playing for the first quarter of this video?

  • This is a great profession.

  • I mean the baker... Tony's cool too.

  • I was just looking for a french bakery yesterday! I ended up going to a vietnamese sandwich shop..they had really good french bread!

  • living paris rite and does ANYBODY KNOW THE NAME OF THAT BAKERY!!! lol

i already got plans to hit chez denise so i kinda wanna go to this bakery too!

    *love*

  • @BlindMansEye

It is right out of the Place Monge metro on rue Monge. Great chocolates also.

  • @kjordan27103 yea. i'm not there anymore but i found it online eventually. Hahaha. i went there and pretended that the baker was "familiar but couldn't put my finger on it" and the guy was SUPER nice to me, wanting to show me his autographed copy of bourdain's book and stuff. he said he was there at 5 am--not THAT early.

then he gave me a free chocolate. :)

    god i miss paris.

  • im living in Paris right now and i sooo get this...

Specially the crack heads in the moring part. (because i am one)

  • I know all too well what you mean, I grew up as a teenager expat just outside of paris in Le Vesinet. I loathe for the early morning treat of a hot pain au chocolat or croissant, accompanied by the quintessential cup of cafe aux lait at my local cafe! With out a doubt, a small and yet simple piece of heaven!

  • this was the very best of tony, this show was old fashioned 1950's feel good. go to your happy places tony and he happy.

  • Just love Anthony Bourdain. Hes inspiring the way he has this unique outlook on life.
