no levels? - not true, they have levels, they just renamed them to "skills". You grind the same, just the name of the thing grinded has changed. Not much of a difference whether its a number on your portrait or a number in your skill. As long as you do repetitive actions to increase a number which gives you power over your fellow players, it's just the same grindfest as any other game "with levels".

Not correct, this is a totally new concept, the only thing that is even close is that it's an MMO. But it SO much more that you CAN'T get from wow, AoC and WH are basically same concept as wow. And thats why wowplayers chose to go back. They wont accept to start over in a game they dont know everything about when it will be the same as wow. Intelligent AI. While you focus on the troll running away, one might sneak up from the sides. And trust me, it does happen often! I was fighting this skeleton that was dodging my magic while charging at me, and finally it s6tarted running away when it was at 80% health. I was like WTF. I charged him with my polearm. After a few seconds, he decided to charge me again. I wanted to switch to my magic but it was too late. 2 other skeletons boxed me in from behind. Very impressive AI.

why I'm implying this is cos beta is used to fix technical bugs like class abilities,stats,mob pathing,looting bugs etc,not enhance animations,beta should be pretty much done animation wise.
really hope they work out a better running/sprinting/walking animation since as it is now these are moving statues.

I'm gonna try the game when it goes Live regardless of what everyone thinks, but from what I can tell, if you're going to like this game, it's going to be for the freedom of choice the game gives you, as far as combat goes, you can do much better, hopefully with subscriber funding they'll be able to develop the game beyond Elder Scrolls 3 looking animation.. Just running puts me off playing tbh, static from the waste up with legs flailing about.. But again the hooks are in the concept.
Same if you don't like grinding because you can own it up without high level skills.

All of the AI issues have been fixed. This video was taken pre-patch where they turned on full AI. The goblins are now almost impossible to kill if you have 3 on you and are trying to get away. Also, the rest glitch has been fixed.

not only will things improve in time.. but the pvp aspect is still strong.
and about it being "empty".. its supposed to be.. there not trying to make it like WoW.. where everywhere you go has 4 quests associated with it.. and theres a mob perfectly placed every 10 yards.

No shit genius. 3rd person view and especially the retarded strafing animations is so freaking ugly that people are almost forced to use 1st person view in these videos. What I can't understand is why trouser snakes like you defend this game. I think I would have to dumb myself way down to see what is attractive about this flaming turd of a game. I may or may not be in the DF beta at this moment (NDA limits me from saying if I am in it or not, so I maybe am in it or not)
But this is a bug he is exploiting atm, its maybe happened to me too maybe while I was maybe playing.
When you fall off a cliff and you get glitched out. Its maybe happened to me maybe once in the maybe entire time ive maybe played.
Dont listen to him, I think its an awsome game so far, even though ive maybe played.
