Horns fan here. I like both Boise & TCU. Would like to see Boise in the Big12 & have TCU replace Baylor. Gilbert is going to be scary good. I can see UT losing 2 games this season though. VY and Colt lost 2 when they started I believe. From what I've heard, the team has a chip on their shoulder after losing in the MNC, but they will need time to click on all cylinders especially w/the changes being made to the offense & new players added to both sides of the ball if they want to go undefeated.

If Texas runs the ball effectively this year, the play-action is going to destroy opponents if Gilbert executes it as well as he is in this video. He throws an awesome ball. By the time he is a junior, his body will have filled out nicely and he will have NFL scouts drooling. I like how Mack Brown and the other coaches are incorporating more traditional pro-style plays into the playbook.

As much as I loved Colt McCoy, Garrett Gilbert seems to have the arm strength Colt lacked at times...GG has already played in a national championship game and given that he came off the bench cold, the fact that he got points on the board for Texas against Alabama was awesome. Boise st is damn good this year...but we will definately found out when they go into DC the first week and play VT.
Ohio st we all know what they will be like this year...Terrell Pryor. he will def. step up and be a heisman and natchampionship contender.
Bama and OU bring back good offense but both have some questions on D...losing mccoy for OU and mclain on bama.
Texas...well...Gilbert is the real deal. he has in all and he reminds me a lot of tom brady.

As much as I loved Colt McCoy, Garrett Gilbert seems to have the arm strength Colt lacked at times...GG has already played in a national championship game and given that he came off the bench cold, the fact that he got points on the board for Texas against Alabama was awesome. He looks to be the real deal, and I can't wait for September. HOOK 'EM HORNS!!!
