The work of Gorillaz has gotten alot of credit, judging by all their nominations, awards and the record sales. They have as many listeners as Daft Punk on last.fm.

"Laika come home" is only a remixed version of the "Gorillaz" album, which sold about 10 million copies

I have never spoken to a single person my age (22) who has not heard about them, so my guess is you're wrong and the music is just not that appealing to people your age or something.

@OniLink96 The "stole" thing is the story Murdoc gives in "Rise of The Ogre," the Gorillaz book. According to him the Spacemonkeyz (actual space monkeys in this instance) raided the unlocked Kong Studios, stole a bunch of master tracks, and released this album.

You can describe your social theories all you want, the fact is that drug use in your school proves neither that drugs are harmful nor that they are addictive. Moderation is key. And arguing that either is addictive would be tenuous at best, given that the vast majority of users aren't addicted. Addiction is most often rooted in genetic dispositions/vulnerabilities. Get it straight.

I have friends (i'm a third year uni student) who have smoked every day for years and are A students with rich social and extracurricular lives. There is also no evidence to suggest that alcohol or weed is addictive for the average person (a small minority are born with dispositions towards addiction, but this is the exception, not the rule),

When your argument is to not do something because it is "bad" for you (quotes because the health risks with drinking/smoking in moderation are negligible), it becomes a slippery slope: where does it end? By your logic, one should never eat at McDonalds, drink coffee or pop, watch too much television...Most things in life aren't good for you, that's no reason to never indulge.
