"Wild At Heart" is a better film, but he has been in several "as good" as this. I am not saying this isn't a great film or that he hasn't been in some total garbage (he has for sure), but he's done great work in several other great films.

"Leaving Las Vegas", "Adaptation", and "Bringing Out the Dead" are all great as well. He's doing a Herzog film right now, so I imagine I will be able to add another to the list, though he has been pretty weak in a lot of films lately.

I thought it was fairly straightforward. As was hinted by Nathan, who after a very long time together childless with his wife ended up with quintuplets, anything could happen in time. He mentioned medical advances and that's obviously how they got their wonderful family in the end! god I love this film so much
