-Hands below your face, no guarding involved whatsoever

Some times it works and sometimes it does not but the GOAL is still the same ... to achieve Honor and Respect for each other as IRON sharpens IRON to make one's person Heart bigger.

Honor and Respect instead of non-fighters judging those that fight. ;-)

I have trained with Yodsaenklai, I live at his training camp for over 1.5 years, he almost became my son inlaw so I know Yod very well. Kaew Fairtex is 10 kgs lighter than Yod and can have his way with Yod in the clinch, Yod is good but there are still fighters in Thailand that he lost to in his early career that would be an awesome match today. ;-)

True, no one can be perfect, but when he throws the same kick the entire time, usually just out of nature, a fighter will pick up on that and be ready for it. If every time I saw you I punched you in the face, eventually you would be ready for it when the next time came. It's just repetitive and instict makes for a counter-move to protect yourself. I think the fact that this fighter got caught with it is just a sign of lack of strategy.

i have to agree with them though. if you get hit on the same side all the time, you try to avoid damage there instinctively.

that instinct can be used however. lowkick after lowkick, you start to immediatly try block it every time he lifts his feet. so then faint it, and go for the other leg, sending him to the ground or atleast deal lots of damage.
