Sieht echt gut aus. Oh du schöner Westerwald das Lied singen wir immer noch. Manche Lieder wurden nicht verboten. Mein Opa war in Frankreich in Lyon. Habe von ihm auch ein paar Sachen von früher. r hat viel mitgemacht und mein großes Vorbild. Nun leben wir alle im Frieden zusammen.

Were Felgendarmerie (or however its spelled) ever used as normal combat troops? Im in an airsoft reenactment league and I thought wearing one of the field police uniforms would be a nice change from dot44.

The statement of being the "UK's Leading German Living History Group" is down to individual intepretation. If you put this to a vote to the wider re-enacting community, there are two other names that would (I believe) be vying for this self imposed accolade.  They are good, but NOT the leading group.

I could easily tell they are a bunch of modern day reenactors because all those guys looks suspiciously well fed. People back in the 40s on average are smaller and a few stone lighter than today.
