  • spam this 1:52 WHO HAS A PROBLEM NOW!?

  • The boy is a good story reader. He gets the poetry of the writing, even if he can't pronounce all the words. Sweet child.

  • I'm studying to be a teacher and am busy with a child profile. The child I worked with is 5 years old...I know he has speech problems but I couldn't figure it out. Until I discovered cluttering! The boy in this clip speaks just like him. If I didn't read the text on the screen it was hard to understand him. This has helped me so much :)

  • I don't hear much wrong with how he reads. His pitch/tone/inflection/speed all seemed appropriate to what he was reading and just had a couple of problems that were minor. In fact, he read better than some of my peers, and they are grown adults.

  • wtf he wasn't even reading that badly. the only thing i saw was he said w's instead or r's and he mispronounced a few words, but she's acting like he heas it really severe

  • being an adult with cluttering is difficult as speech therapy is extremely expensive and is not covered by almost any health care plan. therapy in public schools helped me immensely to alleviate transposing th and s sounds, stuttering, and cluttering. I am left with a less truncated speech pattern, with better annunciation, but my rapid rate of speech has become a hurdle in more than one career.

  • I'm not a speech therapist, but why does the boy need to read so fast? Wouldn't just ask him to read slowly and practices until he could read clearly would solve the problem?

I felt he read too fast compare to his own ability.

  • @gerjaison please educate yourself before ridiculing.

  • @gerjaison Umm..... he reads fast because thats what cluttering is! Research before commenting.

  • @lucieann21 - So that's no cure just by reading repetitively slowly until he pick up the pronunciation?

  • Id say i have have a stammer/stutter/clutter cuz i have the characteristics of all of them. Stammer because its mostly repetition, stutter because it happens when im nervous, and cluttering because of my disoganized thoughts and handwriting.

  • When I read from a book, I read too fast and don't leave many gaps for commas or full stops, unless I get stuck on a word and say it twice, or three times, or repeat a sentence, then I leave a long gap while I 'catch up' to where I was. Is that cluttering???

  • @Joker2982 i think i clutter when speaking and i also do what u do sometimes. i think theyre unrelated tho. when i read like u, i am usually just not paying attention to what im reading, thinking of something else, and sometimes really sleepy. also, about my typing, thats not from cluttering, im just 13

  • @Joker2982 actually now that i think about it, my reading sometimes may have to do with cluttering

  • woah...sounds like me...
