I think so too. And it's not the place Jerusalem, it's her jerusalem, her centre of believe (in herself) and the place that gives her strength. It's just herself, the real Anouk, the place where her emotions and personality are. She's lost contact with it, as happens when you're depressed, or less extreme when you're "not yourself". Everyone knows that feeling, I guess.

i dont think this song has anything to do with the actual city of Jerusalem, so save your political crap both sides please. this is about getting back to a spiritual place inside yourself, but symbolized by Jerusalem. We all lose our way sometimes. If Palestinians and Israelis all actually tried to get back to that spiritual place inside themselves, that physical spot on the map might get some peace.
