  • @shicadelic from Lush, a natural cosmetics company :) I've used this too, I liked it! They're in loads of countries but google Lush too to see if you can get it online perhaps? If you want more deciding info/tips see my vid but this one already says a lot of good stuff!

  • WHERE DID YOU GET THE HENNA RECIPE FROM?! I was googleing it like crazy, but cant find it :( Please help!

  • Lol: "I love Indian food, but...they don't sell henna in a restaurant."

I don't know why but that made me laugh.

  • So strange, at first I thought you were Scottish. No idea where I got that impression. You are very clearly Canadian (as am I).

Just thought I'd share a laugh.

  • @MadreMaven I have Scottish heritage, but am very Canadian lol

  • how long does it take to wear off since henna is semi permanent?

  • @janeandalec Henna isn't semi permanent, it is permanent. It is very difficult to get out of your hair once you use it. I still have red undertones to the bottom half of my hair after many lightening processes.

  • if my hair is just almost black and has copper tinges in it how do you think it will turn out? does it have that grassy smell?

  • ummm do u have to use tea/coffee???

  • I was wondering, does a person have to pre-lighten their hair first to get the henna to grab on their hair? my hair is naturally red, and I am looking to make it more vibrant, so I just was wondering, I have never used Lush henna before. let me know. :) Thanks

  • Your hair is really beautiful... I'm going to use the Caca Rouge tomorrow because my hair is dark brown and I want to be SO FREAKIN' RED THAT EVERYONE'S LIKE OH EM GOSH! FEEL THE FLAMES!

Haha I don't even know if you could get henna in any other place in New Zealand than Lush, which is only in three of our cities, lollage. Feel sorry for us backcountry farmers... :-)

  • would this look good on a tan pearson

  • @pixiepall234 It can but like with all haircolour it really depends on your undertones.

  • you are so pretty :) that color looks nice on you .

  • ur accent is fantastic! my friend just used lush henna on my hair today adn I loved it!!

  • do u have before and after photos? did it damage or dry out ur hair at all?

  • @malkien12 It didn't damage my hair at all. You just can't remove the colour from your hair after, even chemical dyeing or bleaching over it won't work. If you check out one of my videos before you'll see that my hair was a dark brown before and then went to a dark auburn with the henna.

  • @malkien12 The Lush product isn't just henna, it's also got tonnes of cocoa butter (i.e. stuff they use to make white chocolate) and some other nice natural ingredients in it, and the henna itself is natural so that it actually REALLY REALLY CONDITIONS it and makes it shine like crazy. Basically it's the best thing ever for your hair, but it also dyes it. Win-win.

  • @malkien12 It dries the hair .. henna always ultimately dries the hair .. never found a way to stop that.

  • your candan girl

  • my hair is black and i just bought this henna in caca marron as well. i reeeeeeaaalllly hope it doesn't turn out burgundy! what should i use to mix with it to become a lighter reddish brown!??

  • It looks great on you

  • what's your natural color?

  • wow dats alot i got myne for £6 in the Lush store in Cheltenham but im guessing your from usa? i got this but the brun one and i love it!

  • i was wondering when u get the henna bar does it come with the recipe or do you have to get one off the internet

  • They generally have photocopies in the lush store of a recipe but you can also find some online

  • What's your original colour?

  • My hair damages really easily.

Like so easily that i can not used box hair dyes because even one time and my hair is about to fall out from damage.

Do you think this would be a safe alternative.

I always go to a salon but i dont have the money right now and school is coming up.

and also how long does it last?

  • I can't see henna damaging hair, but you'll have to be very careful when you wash it out so that you're not pulling and breaking any hair. Henna and other plant based dyes would be a good alternative. It's considered permanent, and I have to say it is. The only thing you have to me careful about is that once you start to henna it's extremely hard to get back out of your hair and it can be difficult/impossible to box-dye over or bleach.

  • I have the same henna on my hair now. I will rince it in .. 2 hours I think lol.

  • I hope it turns out well for you

  • Hey girl, your hair looks kinda red, i thought that

  • Hey, I was thinking of getting this, and your review convinced me to give it a shot. Thanks! I love how glowy your hair looks. =)

My skin is kinda pinkish, so I'm going to get the Brun and hope it comes out mostly brown with not much red.

  • Great! I'm going to try it defenitly!

...That is if my exams end, like, EVER ;-)

  • how long did u leave it on??????

  • I left it on for 2 1/2 to 3 hours

  • hi!...what was your hair colour naturally?

  • If you look at some of the previous videos I've uploaded you can see my hair colour. It was a dark brown.
