  • not to hate or anything but a five is the most important knife to have in your back pocket for nails, angles, cleaning mud off the wall and such. also looks like you use alot of durabond with your knives may want to keep some wd40 in the bag so your knives won't rust. dont listen to the guys about hawks and crap there too messey and a good finisher is a clean one. thats how we roll in alabama at least.

  • Hawks and trowels pan and knives it really depends where your from in the west coast we use pan and knives I know a lot of guys that came from the east coast or places in the south like Texas that use hawks and trowels and they move over here to work and have to adapt to pan and knives but it's all in the skill and knowledge of the individual ....

  • I also use a 16 inch trowel and find it works pretty good but really good tips man. thanks

  • Too much time and effort bashing other people you don't know about. Don't be a Mike Holmes, Hollywood egoist.

  • Real pros use hawks and trowels...

  • @YOURDEAD74 lol i use the same trowel to put on the tape, do second coat and skim, no curve or crown trowels either!
