Does Espen speak a standard Norwegian (if there is one - I know that it's quite complicated in your country) or is his speechs lightly "regional" ? Just out of interest - it would be great if somebody could tell me that. To my ear he doesn't speak like Morten H., for example...

I have seen all the interviews found about Espen on youtube, but in every ones he seem to be so different...I am very surprised..and when he is singing...his incredible eyes and face...

I also wonder like you wether how is his real personality....

I met him a week ago backstage at a concert in Oslo. He is the nicest, most down to earth person you could ever meet. He looks directly in your eyes while you are talking to him and he appears to be very interested in whatever you are saying. He is tall and very slim and hot as hell, but such a nice person. I will treasure the time I got to spend with him.

This interview must be from late 2004. He talks about NI 2003, as "last year". And he is about to release the first singel to the album released in spring 2005.

Mostly he is very laydback, self-ironic and have a quick comment to whatever he is asked about. I have never seen him running like this in any other tv-shows :)

Hehe, I thought laid-back was an american word, but you ar noe from us :) It means he is in balance and taking things as they come. He is very relaxed and at peace. Of course he is serious in his work, but seems to be an easy-going person otherwise. Do you remember the name of the other interview on youtube? Would like to see it..

Oh, I wrote quite a lot to you, but the comment disappered.. I just repeats that laid-back is the same as relaxed, beeing i balanse, calm, cool and all the opposite of stress :) We just love everything about him!! Where did you find the other interview here?

It is to much to translate, but he is wondering if anybody remembers him, and he is longing for beeing out there singing for people again. It was four years since his last album. (Btw, he was growing his hair, not hear :)

Nice video! He talks about beeing outside public eye for four years, joking he has been sitting home that time growing his hear. But he has been writing songs for others and himself. And also talks about the fuzz when the original video with Sissel came out. Sissel was the Godess in Norway, and some people thought he had led the "pure" girl into "bad" things. (The original video was banned from tv channals. He is from north of Norway and has kept his way of speaking after many years in Oslo.)
