Jon and Kate Plus 8 - Milestones

I have a lot of respect for Kate and other mums like this. Try raising 8 kids all under the age of 10 (at the time) and juggling her own issues and trying to maintain her marriage to Jon. Some would struggle like hell to cope with all those things put together.

Take my partner's mother for example; She is a mental health nurse with 5 children aged between 6 and 19 and has been married for nearly 23 years. I have a lot of respect for her.

In the long run, She's a brave woman!!

The new show Kate plus eight is cheesy. Kate is constantly catching herself,like when Jon had the kids for a B-day party Kate said "When Jon had the kids and threw them a party they all came home with huge wads of gum in their mouths". Kate chews gum all the time. I don't care for the new show . It's not as spontaneous and seems kinda scripted.

you look at this and that wasn't acting. At one time they were really happy together. Blame it on the show, changing as you enter your 30s, the evils of fame, stress of kids, but at one time they really were in love and were a happy family.

There is always one partner who seems to love more than the other one does..you can see that Kate loves him more than he loves her...regardless of how she acts. All he needed to do was put her in her place in front of the camera..I think he acted like a martyr on purpose.

I am totally in agreeance with you. Even though Kate can act like a bitch at times, I think she tried her best to be a good wife and mother and all she wanted from Jon was for him to be proud of her. But most of the time he showed no emotion and acted like a bump on a log. So I think she would get frustrated and take out her anger on him. But I agree she always loved him more than he loved her.

Jodie and her sister wrote a blog on the internet. The producer wanted to make Jodie a regular on the show and she would get paid for babysitting the children. Kate became angry and she refused. Listen idiots that are trashing Kate:  How would you feel if you tried a common fertility treatment and got six kids instead of one? She is not selling the kids, she is being smart by raising extra money so she can send EIGHT kids to college. No one would be able to afford that otherwise. I wish I was in that family! Those kids are going to grow up so close to each other, and I have always wanted a big close family. Jon and Kate are the best parents I have ever seen, always treating the kids as individuals, and taking the time and so many extra pains to make great memories for them to look back on. I admire them so much, love Kate's humor and organization, and Jon's patience and strength. Thanks for letting us share your family! We love you all!!

as they explained in the first episode, they actually did try to adopt kids from korea but they didn't because they were too young and they weren't allowed. and they didn't customize their children using medicine. i don't think kate needs to calm down, i think YOU do.

they tried to adopt children from korea but they couldnt because in order to adopt a baby from korea you have to pass a stingent test to make sure that your can provide for the children that you adopt. they didnt pass the test so they thought "hey why not try medicine" it was a miracle for kate to get pregnant and amazing they got 8 kids. before you start bad-mouthing people for not caring about foster children think about how hard jon and kate are working to provide for their children.

The fact of the matter is Kate is not a nice person...I know this because I live right outside Reading, PA near where she used to live. Just was at Reading Hospital and met a nurse that used to work with her, she is not a nice person, and made a bad impression on a lot of people. My own father had contact with her before she was famous and she is demanding, self centered, and feels entitled. This is apparent if you can stomach watching the show.

Are those kids starving? Are they living on the streets? No. They are receiving more money for their TV show but Jon is still working and providing more for HIS children. They could just as well let the channel pay them off all they need. They could not give a damn and raise their children badly. They are doing an excellent job in raising those kids. Thing is they DO have 8 children and they are doing all they can to raise them well. Do you even watch the show? These parents are living proof that you can raise a child well, give them a good education, teach them good morals, no matter how many there are.I'm glad that they're not part of the immense group of people that take advantage of government benefits for having that amount of children. They care for their kids. Kate and Jon, keep it up, your children will grow up to be great leaders.
