My hands are soaking in the blood of angels!!! very good metaphor for the crimes our politicians have committed in the misuse of our military. Our Military should never be used to strong arm the weaker nations of the world into submitting to our will.
@nbullis1 They get fired mate, this isn't 100 years ago, society progressed a bit ( just a bit ) ... But they can't get a job anywhere else cause there will be bad things written in his recomendations, something that isn't true... But still, not killed xD
There is no point in arguing. What has been done is done. What's gonna happen is up to us. Maybe some circumstances we cannot control. But we just have to give it our best to make a brighter future. Hold doors open for people. Be a nice guy/girl. If you know what I mean. Do what you can to make the world a better place. Without having a political figure telling you what to do/say he'll do. Most things politicians say is bullshit, from my point of view. Commenting on a video will do nothing.
I respect each soldier, because they are human beings but THIS SONG IS FOR THE ACTIVIST AND PROTESTORS , NOT FOR CELEBRATE WAR.Rise Against is one of my favorites bands (punk-rock protest).
Look the USA army r a bunch of wakers alright ... the Austrlian army only want peace and there not the type of soilder that will kill there enemy and piss on them, If anyone else saw that video and was discusted like this post!
I hope all USA lands will be poisoned by Uranium and Radiation, so all of them die from cancer and all similar things. If there is God, it will happen. You just can't play strong cards forever and kill anyone you want... Someday, you'll get it all back.
@Danilo1993bgd Yeah because uh... We Americans all wanted these wars right? All of us want the death of innocent people and none of us rally, protest, or attempt to fight against the war hungry politicians that take power? Remember that no one can help where they are born and many attempt to change the places they live so before you become like those war hungry people you hate maybe you should rethink your statements. Where do you think Rise Against is from?
@DarkAnderebu I agree that noone can chose where he will be born. I am from Serbia, and I'm not hungry but, when I was 6, NATO and US government bombed my city, and many other towns. I don't remember that i did anything to them, but still, i could die like many others innocent. Because of few men, bombing hospitals, bridges, and similar things? You people chose your government to lead you, and you'll pay for that mistake. Like we did. All I would spare are Amishes and Natives.
@Danilo1993bgd That is a terrible thing to wish on somebody, I don't care what happened when you were younger. Like DarkAnderebu said it's not like people don't protest. There are to many blinded people here for the people who can see clearly to actually make a difference. It isn't our fault, we don't have control over our military. I would guarantee if any dangerous protesting occurred that risks "harming democracy" we would be locked down like China within days.
@Danilo1993bgd I am fighting against things like that. I am devoting a large part of my life to informing people in my nation of the atrocities we have committed in an attempt to stop them. It's wrong to assume that we wanted this and even those who did most of them have been lied to. I know of the horrors that have taken place in the name of the United States, but I want to help shape a new nation. Killing innocent people won't do that. It'll just cause more bloodshed.

Instead of fighting against each other let's stand together to stop these disgusting things from ever happening again.
@todell57455 What? I'm not quite sure what we're talking about? I was saying that I want the senseless bloodshed to stop. I suppose you could say I was trying to see it from their perspective, but I'm not trying to pretend I live there.
@DarkAnderebu You seem to be talking shit about the country you live in, and from your description, i assumed you lived in Iraq or Afghanistan. But, no, you just seem to be an idiot...
@todell57455 I'm not "talking shit" about the country I live in. See a true patriot doesn't sit idle while their nation does horrible things and drifts so far away from what it was founded upon. I feel that my homelands have been straying from freedom for a long time. Why should the life of an innocent person be equivalent to any amount of money? My uncle was was a Sgt. in the US Army, my grandfather was in Vietnam, and I want to work for the US government as an interpreter.
@DarkAnderebu "...a true patriot doesn't sit idle while their nation does horrible things..." The US has NOT done horrible things. True, some US soldiers HAVE (the most minor of minorities) but you can't judge an entire country b/c of a few rotten apples. I agree that the life of an innocent person shouldn't be equivalent to any amount of $, but I don't c how that is relevant to this discussion. and yes u r talking shit about the US, what w/ the whole found a new nation shit...
@todell57455 Putting a dictator in Nicaragua for 20 years wasn't a horrible thing? Bombing towns with known civilians inside isn't horrible? Invading nations simply due to differences in political opinion isn't horrible? Sterilization methods being tested on our own civilians without consent isn't horrible? Injecting syphilis into US soldiers as they returned from wars isn't horrible? (Vietnam) I stand by the founding fathers, but not some of the unjust things going on now.
@DarkAnderebu "Putting a dictator in Nicaragua 4 20 years..." Necessary evil. "Bombing towns with known civilians inside isn't horrible?" IT IS WAR!! Casualties are a fact of war, like it or not. How high is the rent in ur fairy-tale world? As for the sterilization methods, and syphilis crap, those are crazy conspiracy theories. U sure u've taken ur medication today?
@todell57455 Conspiracy theories? Why have some (South Carolina for example) apologized for the forced sterilization and even given money to the families of those who had it done?
@DarkAnderebu Yes, conspiracy theories. Forced sterilization WAS extremely unfair I'll admit, but that was a long time ago. U r talking about the beginning of the 20th century, over 100 years ago!! Try to keep in the present, will u?
@todell57455 The US also apologized for the testing of STD's on Guatemalans in the 1940's. Just because things happened a long time ago doesn't mean they aren't still going on. The people who thought that the US was doing things to people back then were considered crazy, but many years later they were proven correct. I would like to know how putting dictators in other nations is a "necessary evil." These are people like you and your family being oppressed because of us. That's sick.
@richardsmike1 Thank You!! I can think of nothing better to empower than the US government. BTW, you're just a crazy conspiracy nut w/ nothing better to do with life than stew in your own paranoia
@Danilo1993bgd My grandfather was seriously wounded by grenade thrown by Russian soldier in Winter War and without that grenade he would probably lived 20-30 years older than he did (and I would know him much better than now). Even he died because of Russian soldier, i don't blame all Russians of that, not even a soldier that thrown that grenade. Wars are not choosed by people: they are choosed by couple politicians or dictator.
@Kaalifornia I know that there are good people, and I wish them all good things, but what should i think about other 70% or more people who support war and wish to fight against helpless nations like: Libya, Iraq, ex Yugoslavia...? I'm sorry about your grandpa, but that would not bring him back... Anyway, i was talking about masses of people who support war. One nuclear bomb and problem resolved. :)
You can't wish things like that on people.. there are innocent americans that died in 9/11. and sadly theres many more that have died from the middle east countries. War is a terrible thing. But you can't judge america and it's people as a whole.. thats how this war started in the first place, judgements from the taliban and other groups. Like every other country and human in the world. theres more than meets the eye..
@bbh6710 I guess you're right. Judgement is not so good idea. Anyway, I remember 9/11 when I was young... I was playing outside, and when the news told about that, many people here start singing and were happy saying: 'God gave them back what they did to us.' And stuff like that. But I was 7 yr old to get it right. Now, i think that wasn't terrorist attack, but it was plan to blame Arabs so they can go to Iraq and Afghanistan and start the war. No offense but that's my point of view.
No offense taken. everyone has a right to their own opinion. of course i believe there was a terrorist attack, i dont see a point for some government conspiracy. There are a lot of good people in america like every where else. so its kind of sad to see such hateful comments online about people they dont know.. everything today is becoming more stereotypical
People... Can't I listen to a great band, watch a great video along with it, and read positive comments for once? Please, stop trolling. Respect Rise Against<3
I feel obligated to point out that this song is about "protestors and activists" not soldiers. Although, in saying that I mean absolutely no disrespect to soldiers; whom i have the utmost respect for, their bravery and idealism is astounding! sadly, the American military has been exploited since WWII and they have become little more than the strong arm of an unjust society.Soldiers are great people but politicians and corporations exploit their courage for profit and power. THAT MAKES ME SAD :(
once ur in the millitary/navy/air force w/e your brothers you protect eachother you defend eachother help eachother threw anything something normal citisins barly do
@kev9972 You know the rest of this world would take this seriously if you were actually in the military, navy, air force etc. (Aside from the poor grammar)
I don't much care for political correctness because usually it's not correct if it's politically correct. But great video! I loved it! I'm actually going to sign up some time this year maybe within the couple months into the Army for light wheel mechanics.
US got to rule the world for about 20 years (from 1991 to 2009) and that's enough I think. World changes into multipolar with the rise of China, Brazil and India. Not to mention European Union which was the biggest economic power already in 1993.
Why don't all you bitches shut up and enjoy this video instead of trollin'. Internet fighting is just like the special olympics. You might win....but you are STILL a retard.
I laugh at the people who say how Iraq is poor and are dying of starvation and stuff. No, Iraq is one of the richest and wealthy countries in the middle-east. My cousin said a lot of families have flat-screen TV's in their houses (which is better then a lot of the US's houses hahaha).
God bless US soldiers, but screw the US government. If US soldiers were smarter, they would fight against their corupted government and not against virtual terrorists and poor iraqi people, who would have died of starvation and illness anyway.
For those of you having the crusade argument these are the accepted definitions of a crusade:
1. often Crusade Any of the military expeditions undertaken by European Christians to recover the Holy Land from the Muslims.
2. A holy war undertaken with papal sanction.
3. A vigorous concerted movement for a cause or against an abuse
please note number 3 " A vigorous concerted movement for a cause or against an abuse" religion is not necessarily involved. Try knowing this before commenting next time.
Im all most 100% sure rise against would not be happy there music for your attempts at brainwashed proagandi I don't blame you for your ignorance I blame the system that brainwashed you you should really read up on how "cool" war is before making these types of videos
@SarniaSteel the display of a military or a military in action is not always the person showing it saying Hey Look At This awesome killing spree called war! sometimes its them saying hey look at these brave soldiers! and other positive comments like that. think logically next time you post. support the troops!
@MrQueso6191 I didn't say that putting pictures of "soldiers" is pro war. However now that you mention if this video is not stating that as a subject of pro war. then why only choose these photos why not put pictures of the families who have been destroyed in war or the people who have fled from there own homes because of it. Id say that they are the people worth supporting I refuse to feel bad for people who signed up knowing what war is SUPPORT THE TRUE VICTIMS ! logical is a matter of opinion
@SarniaSteel If you don't stand behind our troops, feel free to stand in front of them. I'm serious. Feel free. I dare you. And be4 u go on about how "unjust" the war is, answer me this. Where do you live? (as in which country)
If the answer is the US, feel free to get the fuck out
If the answer is Iraq or Afghanistan, I'd advise you to take a good look at your beleifs and try to have an open mind
If the answer is none of these, SHUT THE FUCK UP ALREADY!!
@todell57455 I have stood in front of our troops. How many time have you been to Afghanistan and iraq during the wars ? how many of the 500,000 civilians that were killed are your family members? you tell me to shut up because I am against killing for no reason, yet the only reasoning you bring up is what CNN told you, to put it frank sir you are an uneducated typical right wing mess, I am against violence period and I thought it was still in my rights to have freedom of speech!
@SarniaSteel second of all you start posting acting like a teenager who is doesn't get his way on everyone one of my post, then tell me to shut up why because you cant handle believing that your system is failing? that war has become a business and they are not fighting for our freedom. people in Iraq shouldn't want or need to look at there beliefs in fact it is not up to america to say what they should or shouldn't do I think we as Americans need to stop being world police and look at ourself
@todell57455 I don't support violence so no it was not in battle so I can't say that I was apart of the war. My sister was teaching a english class in iraq and was killed in what was called a mistake, she was just out of teachers college and never asked to be a part of war. so yeah I'd say I have a reason to be against killing and I respect that you have a strong opinion you have the right to say what you wish. I'll I can say is I have gotten my research from other then a main stream media
@SarniaSteel ...First off, let me say I am sorry bout ur sister. However, what proof do u have that it was not an accident? I hate to say it, but it very well could have been. Bullets rarely differentiate between friend and foe. And how do u know that the US fired the bullet that killed her? It coulda been the terrorists...
Also, I do get my research from other than a main stream media. I get my research from common sense, a college-level class specifically on the war, and by remembering 9/11
@todell57455 well the missel they droped cost upwards of 9 million dollars. So if it was an accent I think they are wasting tax payer dollars on careless mistakes not to mention innocent lives. I think this allso answers how I know it was the us. As for BIn Laden's I agree they did ruin our country as they funded Geogre W in his run for office.
@SarniaSteel First off, the fact that it was an expensive missile does not necessarily point to the US, although I will concede that it elevates the probability of that exponentially. However, there are a lot of left-over munitions from the Afgan-Soviet war. Have you inquired at the date on the missile. And even if it was the US, MISTAKES HAPPEN, I'm sorry but innocent lives are gonna be lost in war... Perhaps it would have been safer for your sister to teach somewhere else??
@todell57455 Mistakes happen? the whole war was a mistake, It was a missile from the us. I hope it never does happen however I don't think anyone whom lives are changed from war truly knows what war is. I think you have a very pro american view on how the world works Where my family and myself are more into respecting people for being human beings not where they are from. however this conversation like expected is going nowhere so how about we agree to disagree and stop going in a circle
@SarniaSteel The war in Iraq was handled poorly I admit, after we killed Suddam, we shoulda got the hell out and let them kill each other in peace! (I'm serious). What the hell did you mean w/ ur second sentence? I'm seriously confused by that one. I also believe in respecting people for being human beings, etc. but if they don't act like human beings, i.e. fly a plane into a highly populated building, they should be terminated without mercy.
Guys what's the problem? American military the most powerful army on earth and you still think those street don't belong to them? Well in my opinion any street that USA would like to claim will belong only to them. :D Sorry if i have offended you in some way, but I would only like to say that you do not know alot about your own army. ;) In my country for example more people died in car incidents in last year than USA lost their soldiers in 8 years of war xD
@konradzbigniew i support are military but i dont support the wars and the polititians and generals that brought us into them. And yes in most cases the United States has the best military. Air Force is one example, Navy is a second, and i think we have our special forces in the top two. The only other special force that might be able to match ours is the British SAS or the the Russian Spetsnaz(not sure if i spelled that right). Another problem is how much money we spend on defense.
Seriously, u should have understood by now that the only reason american troops are all over arab countries is just to steal the petrol, fuel and oil there are no terrorists there and its actually the troops who are terrorising the locals !
@silverdevil66 Really? If we are there for oil where is it? Can't answer that can you? If you want you can go to Afghanistan with my son on his next tour and meet the terrorists you claim don't exist.
@r1s1ngarmy Im not sure I fully understand your post, "where is it?" iraq has the second largest amount of oil reserve in the world ? So there is oil there, Second of all Afganistan and Iraq are very different wars that took place at the same time. I am not cutting you or your son down however any tax payer in America that helped foot the bill of billions of dollars has the right to answers that the gov't has not responded to questions didn't put your son in harms way the white house did
@SarniaSteel By "Where is it" I was saying that the oil everyone said we were there for isn't in America. As for the difference between the wars Iraq and Afghanistan I was not referring to that, although you are right in the fact that they are different. The main point of that comment was that the wars were for a reason, contrary to what the comment I replied on seemed to think. As for the rest of your comment I'm not sure what that was directed towards.
@silverdevil66 Since you seem to be unawares, I'll do a little friendly informing. Do you know what OPEC is? It's an acronym that stands for Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, of which Iraq is a member. You may be asking "What does this have to do with anything?", but it actually matters quite a bit. You see, OPEC controls all Petrol that leaves the members countries, from the quantity sent, to the price Petrol is sold at. This means that the US could not have invaded for oil.
Iraq wanted to sell oil for EUROS, but that would have been a blow to dollar. Saddam had sold oil with ridiculous price to United States, but Saddam wanted more money for his people and country.
United States also wanted to control his people by declaring "Patriot Act" and thatswhy Usa needed to justify "war on terrorism".
Ofcourse, weapons of mass destruction was NEVER found, so that makes America a terrorist, not Saddam!
@PitchBl4ckK Cool insult bro, makes your opinion totally valid. You seem to have this weird misconception that the US controlling Iraq would effect oil at all, it wouldn't. Remember OPEC? If the US would have done anything to control oil, sanctions would be place on oil going to the US, it would be 1970 all over again. And why would the US want to control the populace? Can you prove there were never any weapons? You have given no proof to these wild claims. Also it's you're.
@plyinglemon oil exports in iraq in year more then doubled from 2005 to now also there are A lot of western oil companies getting contracted in iraq. Im not saying it all went to the US but some money sure did. A lot of companies made great profits off these two wars. Its has been stated a few times now that the were no wmd's in iraq and also its not anyone job to prove they were not there. Its the people whom took thousands of lives job to prove there was a reason!
@SarniaSteel No, no, and once again no. America exports more oil than most other countries in the EU and NATO. We export the oil we already have because it's high priced on the market. We do not steal oil, and then sell it.
@ContinentalPatriot Yes you are right but they export oil to canada and canada imports it back to save shipping cost. America is the largest consumer of oil aka the food of capitalism they roughly export 1 million barrels a day of a type of crude oil the import 11.1 million barrels a day and use a domestic supply of 9.4 million barrels a day roughly Americans use 19.5 million barrels of oil a day.
@ContinentalPatriot thats not at all what you said but I think very different I think the US is completely dependent on oil and will do whatever it takes to maintain cost. Power and Greed have done a lot to mans mind in our history and I think the Bush admin should be charged with war crimes. I will give you the benift of the doubt though if not for oil and money why did the US invade iraq ? why did they ignore the UN's requests?
@SarniaSteel It wasn't a reason at all. Companies seeing an opportunity to make money and taking it doesn't indicate that the Coalition governments were involved in the slightest.
@plyinglemon Im not trying to offend you and I hope you understand that we clearly have different thoughts on how America is run. How ever the Bush admin has many ties to this. George W Jr. and Sr. have huge ties to the oil industry as im sure you are aware of. one that sticks out to me is the Bin Laden family and other members of Saudi Arabia's oil Wealthy elite contributed mightily to several Bush family ventures even as the American energy industry helped put Bush into office. why?
@SarniaSteel #3 that the bush administration was a oil admin. I know this may not prove anything to you but. Why did the US invade Afganistan when 15 of the 19 suspected hijackers called Saudi Arabia home? Why invade iraq with complete disregard for the UN's reports and facts of no WMD's? Its my right as a tax payer and a human being to ask these questions and get answers is it not ? Did my dollars not pay for the war ? I respect your opinion, and you paitriotism but I am allowed to have mine to
@SarniaSteel Invade Iraq because you need to be sure beyond reasonable doubt. After Saddam Hussein gas attacked the kurdish people you knew he was capeable of having the weapons. As well as Iraq were supporters of Al-Qaeda and anti western powers policies.
@ContinentalPatriot the Al Qaeda information was only brought forth well after the invation of Iraq. Prior to the US attacking Iraq the UN did a 3 year long investagation turning up only information on iraq not having any WMD, witch is all so the reason a lot of UN and allies did not go with the US to Iraq. It is not America's job to play world peace and they do not have the right to kill people because of a gut feeling. And why not Saudi Arabia where all the hijackers are from.
@SarniaSteel Well, after watching thousands of innocent kurds die at the hands of gas attacks and then being dragged into the war i would of went for saddam first too.
@SarniaSteel I'm sorry to enter this just reading this one commentbut, to be fair the Al Qaeda started the Afghan warwith the September 11th attacks. Inthe words of my cousin; "The peopleof these nations are not our enemies, but rather the people who look to harm the Citizens of America and Afghanistan. We fight these people, and their supporters not only for the safety of our great nation, but for the safety and prosperity of the Afghan people. Both of you stop fighting please
@Thatshow100 if you want to believe that its your choice to do so but ask yourself three questions. Why Afghanistan when 15-19 of the hijackers were from Saudi? Who gained during these wars? Why Iraq ? If you can answer these questions without a doubt then great roll with it if not I suggest you start reading and try to stay away from getting your information from corporate sponsored media outlets as they will continue to lie to you to make themselves look innocent
@SarniaSteel Why Afghanistan when 15-19 of the hijackers were from Saudi? Afghanistan is where most of the high ranking Al Qaeda were believed to be. Why Iraq? Saddam Hussein supported terrorism to "western" countries. (No I don't agree with this war either) Who gained during these wars? What? explain yourself. You seem like the type that doesn't trust the gov. no matter what they do. Answer me this: did you agree with the U.S.'s actions in the 1970's 1990's (1st invasion) 1940's
@Thatshow100 I dont know if you got my pm but like I said on there. I am more then willing to continue a conversation with you over pm or email however I have dealt with people one after another on this video because I believe something different then they do about our gov. So I would much prefer not pushing any more of my beliefs on anyone who doesn't want to hear them. As I do not think anyone should do that. Even though Im forced to every time I turn on a tv or in this case rise against vid
"Why Afghanistan when 15-19 or the hijackers were from Saudi?" Because, moron, Osama Bin Laden (you may have heard of him, he was the HEAD hijacker) lived in Afghanistan!! DUH!!
"Why Iraq" That is because of two reasons. 1. There was information, faulty but that wasn't known at the time, of WMD's in Iraq, and 2. to enforce the treaty agreed to by Suddam himself to end the first Gulf War which Suddam broke repeatedly.
@todell57455 I dont believe Osama Bin Laden was a hijacker at all in fact wouldn't that make your reasoning for the war a waste of time? And if thats the case that he lived in Afghanisan the truth why didn't they find him there ? You are clearly very educated about all of this I can see that your opinion is whatever mainstream media tells you to believe, I am not going to argue my facts vs your fiction and like I have said before if you wish to continue a debate pm me as I have posted enough
@SarniaSteel Idiot!! Idiot!! He admitted it!! Read his 2005 interview. As to why they didn't find Osama Bin Laden in Afghanistan, well, he'd fled to fucking Pakistan hadn't he. Not our fault the man who wanted to rule the world through terror was a lily-white pussy coward. And your "facts" are fiction and my "fiction" are facts. It is clear that you will believe anything that feeds into your own paranoia, so you have my pity. Must be hard, living in a world of fear and distrust...
@todell57455 whatever dude this subject is tired I refuse to battle witts with someone whom has to resort to name calling and judging people for there beliefs I have a Masters degree that says Im not a idiot and dont need to waste anymore time and energy on someone like you if you read all of my post you may see I have answered most of your accusations before with people whom show more respect then you. It people like yourselve why they have CNN go america man were innocent and helping the world
@SarniaSteel Look, you are obviously very convinced that your theroies are correct, and I don't fancey arguing with you kind of people, so lets just agree to disagree.
@plyinglemon #2 why do i feel that all that is of importance well. One of the three major new oil companies that gained a opportunity Was ExxonMobil witch we know is a Saudi Arabian company own by bush's good buddies. Dick Cheney spent the late 90s as a CEO for halliburton now in iraq. Condoleezza Rice sat on the board of Chevron Now in Iraq, Donald Evans was a CEO of tom Vrown inc ( a natural gas company) I hear iraq has a major supply of natural gas. ect.ect I can go on and on but you know ..
@Niegion What. The. Hell. Whats wrong with you? Im sorry, but if your first idea to end a war is to nuke it, then you are an idiot. If we nuked any country, hell, even testing nuclear weapons gets a county into UN trouble now! If we had nuked Iraq, the entire world would be heading for our throats at the same time. Even our allies. Especially our allies. There is no justification of using nuclear weapons in any war, even having them is justified only by other nuclear weapons. There is no point.
This is the exact antigen to what Rise Against meant from this song. It hurts me to see the servicemen fighting this war, because they risk death to solve nothing. This is a horrible video.
Sorry, but I find this clip to be politically incorrect. I respect the dedications, and dot get me wrong, the troops in the middle east have my full support (though I disagree with the war itself) The streets of the middle east dont belong to the US troops there, but to the locals, no matter what the US military says. The clip itself has been put together extremely well and I caongratulate you for that, I just disagree with the message you are trying to convey
It wasn't until after I made the video that I realized how a song with US troops in the middle east looked with a song called "To Them These Streets Belong" I didn't intend for it to come out that way. I just wanted to make a war video and I liked this song
@granit7f4d Why should god bless these troops ? You wont god to bless people who go to other countries and kill the population for money ? Or is it because they are american, and the other population is Afghanistani, so a racist issue ? Or simply god should bless everyone and u admit u made a mistake by specifically saying it about american troops ?
@GaryisaRoach Lolz, still being moronic. Its similar to a crusade, but do you know what a crusade is ? All past defined crusades have been a Vatican supported military expedition where the aim is to re-claim the holy land. This is not the reason america is in iraq or afghan. Its religion is certainly not the main reason they are there. It depends on the definition, but mine is definitely this; Holy crusade is a military expedition to spread/kill/or reclaim in the name of religion (usually pope).
@Bobbalon Oh yeah? I'd like to see any of those locals try to take back a street from our military, before we leave. This may seem incorrect to you, but those streets are ours until we aren't there. When we leave, then they will have their streets back.
@Bobbalon i agree no one likes war in general but in alot of cases if those streets arent ours they belong to the taliban killers of freedom not the locals
Great ! but do you actually know the cause behind the Iraq war ??? I already know what most of you will say

DarkAnderebu 3 weeks ago
@DarkAnderebu I agree that noone can chose where he will be born. I am from Serbia, and I'm not hungry but, when I was 6, NATO and US government bombed my city, and many other towns. I don't remember that i did anything to them, but still, i could die like many others innocent. Because of few men, bombing hospitals, bridges, and similar things? You people chose your government to lead you, and you'll pay for that mistake. Like we did. All I would spare are Amishes and Natives.
Danilo1993bgd 3 weeks ago
@Danilo1993bgd That is a terrible thing to wish on somebody, I don't care what happened when you were younger. Like DarkAnderebu said it's not like people don't protest. There are to many blinded people here for the people who can see clearly to actually make a difference. It isn't our fault, we don't have control over our military. I would guarantee if any dangerous protesting occurred that risks "harming democracy" we would be locked down like China within days.

I know of the horrors that have taken place in the name of the United States, but I want to help shape a new nation. Killing innocent people won't do that. It'll just cause more bloodshed.

todell57455 2 weeks ago
@todell57455 I'm not "talking shit" about the country I live in. See a true patriot doesn't sit idle while their nation does horrible things and drifts so far away from what it was founded upon. I feel that my homelands have been straying from freedom for a long time. Why should the life of an innocent person be equivalent to any amount of money? My uncle was was a Sgt. in the US Army, my grandfather was in Vietnam, and I want to work for the US government as an interpreter.
DarkAnderebu 2 weeks ago
@DarkAnderebu "...a true patriot doesn't sit idle while their nation does horrible things..." The US has NOT done horrible things. True, some US soldiers HAVE (the most minor of minorities) but you can't judge an entire country b/c of a few rotten apples. I agree that the life of an innocent person shouldn't be equivalent to any amount of $, but I don't c how that is relevant to this discussion. and yes u r talking shit about the US, what w/ the whole found a new nation shit...
todell57455 2 weeks ago
@todell57455 Putting a dictator in Nicaragua for 20 years wasn't a horrible thing? Bombing towns with known civilians inside isn't horrible? Invading nations simply due to differences in political opinion isn't horrible? Sterilization methods being tested on our own civilians without consent isn't horrible? Injecting syphilis into US soldiers as they returned from wars isn't horrible? (Vietnam) I stand by the founding fathers, but not some of the unjust things going on now.
DarkAnderebu 2 weeks ago
@DarkAnderebu "Putting a dictator in Nicaragua 4 20 years..." Necessary evil. "Bombing towns with known civilians inside isn't horrible?" IT IS WAR!! Casualties are a fact of war, like it or not. How high is the rent in ur fairy-tale world? As for the sterilization methods, and syphilis crap, those are crazy conspiracy theories. U sure u've taken ur medication today?
todell57455 1 week ago
@todell57455 Conspiracy theories? Why have some (South Carolina for example) apologized for the forced sterilization and even given money to the families of those who had it done?
DarkAnderebu 1 week ago
@DarkAnderebu Yes, conspiracy theories. Forced sterilization WAS extremely unfair I'll admit, but that was a long time ago. U r talking about the beginning of the 20th century, over 100 years ago!! Try to keep in the present, will u?
todell57455 1 week ago
@todell57455 The US also apologized for the testing of STD's on Guatemalans in the 1940's. Just because things happened a long time ago doesn't mean they aren't still going on. The people who thought that the US was doing things to people back then were considered crazy, but many years later they were proven correct. I would like to know how putting dictators in other nations is a "necessary evil." These are people like you and your family being oppressed because of us. That's sick.

Danilo1993bgd 3 weeks ago
@Danilo1993bgd
You can't wish things like that on people.. there are innocent americans that died in 9/11. and sadly theres many more that have died from the middle east countries. War is a terrible thing. But you can't judge america and it's people as a whole.. thats how this war started in the first place, judgements from the taliban and other groups. Like every other country and human in the world. theres more than meets the eye..
bbh6710 2 weeks ago
@bbh6710 I guess you're right. Judgement is not so good idea. Anyway, I remember 9/11 when I was young... I was playing outside, and when the news told about that, many people here start singing and were happy saying: 'God gave them back what they did to us.' And stuff like that. But I was 7 yr old to get it right. Now, i think that wasn't terrorist attack, but it was plan to blame Arabs so they can go to Iraq and Afghanistan and start the war. No offense but that's my point of view.
Danilo1993bgd 2 weeks ago

I feel obligated to point out that this song is about "protestors and activists" not soldiers. Although, in saying that I mean absolutely no disrespect to soldiers; whom i have the utmost respect for, their bravery and idealism is astounding! sadly, the American military has been exploited since WWII and they have become little more than the strong arm of an unjust society.Soldiers are great people but politicians and corporations exploit their courage for profit and power.

@MrQueso6191 I didn't say that putting pictures of "soldiers" is pro war.
SarniaSteel 4 weeks ago
@SarniaSteel second of all you start posting acting like a teenager who is doesn't get his way on everyone one of my post, then tell me to shut up why because you cant handle believing that your system is failing? that war has become a business and they are not fighting for our freedom. people in Iraq shouldn't want or need to look at there beliefs in fact it is not up to america to say what they should or shouldn't do I think we as Americans need to stop being world police and look at ourself
SarniaSteel 4 weeks ago
@SarniaSteel Really, you've stood IN FRONT of our troops? IN A BATTLE? It doesn't count otherwise.
None of the civilians killed were my family members. How many were yours? None?
"I'm against killing for no reason." You don't have a reason to be against killing?
And at least, I don't resort to saying "whatever dude..." whenever someone brings up an inconvenient FACT that contradict's my paranoid worldview...
todell57455 3 weeks ago
@todell57455 I don't support violence so no it was not in battle so I can't say that I was apart of the war. My sister was teaching a english class in iraq and was killed in what was called a mistake, she was just out of teachers college and never asked to be a part of war. so yeah I'd say I have a reason to be against killing and I respect that you have a strong opinion you have the right to say what you wish. I'll I can say is I have gotten my research from other then a main stream media
SarniaSteel 3 weeks ago
@SarniaSteel ...First off, let me say I am sorry bout ur sister. However, what proof do u have that it was not an accident? I hate to say it, but it very well could have been. Bullets rarely differentiate between friend and foe. And how do u know that the US fired the bullet that killed her? It coulda been the terrorists...
Also, I do get my research from other than a main stream media. I get my research from common sense, a college-level class specifically on the war, and by remembering 9/11
todell57455 3 weeks ago
@todell57455 well the missel they droped cost upwards of 9 million dollars. So if it was an accent I think they are wasting tax payer dollars on careless mistakes not to mention innocent lives. I think this allso answers how I know it was the us. As for BIn Laden's I agree they did ruin our country as they funded Geogre W in his run for office.
SarniaSteel 2 weeks ago
@SarniaSteel First off, the fact that it was an expensive missile does not necessarily point to the US, although I will concede that it elevates the probability of that exponentially. However, there are a lot of left-over munitions from the Afgan-Soviet war. Have you inquired at the date on the missile. And even if it was the US, MISTAKES HAPPEN, I'm sorry but innocent lives are gonna be lost in war... Perhaps it would have been safer for your sister to teach somewhere else??
todell57455 2 weeks ago
@todell57455 Mistakes happen? the whole war was a mistake, It was a missile from the us. I hope it never does happen however I don't think anyone whom lives are changed from war truly knows what war is. I think you have a very pro american view on how the world works Where my family and myself are more into respecting people for being human beings not where they are from. however this conversation like expected is going nowhere so how about we agree to disagree and stop going in a circle
SarniaSteel 2 weeks ago
@SarniaSteel The war in Iraq was handled poorly I admit, after we killed Suddam, we shoulda got the hell out and let them kill each other in peace! (I'm serious). What the hell did you mean w/ ur second sentence? I'm seriously confused by that one. I also believe in respecting people for being human beings, etc. but if they don't act like human beings, i.e. fly a plane into a highly populated building, they should be terminated without mercy.

Another problem is how much money we spend on defense.

r1s1ngarmy 3 months ago
@r1s1ngarmy Im not sure I fully understand your post, "where is it?" iraq has the second largest amount of oil reserve in the world ? So there is oil there, Second of all Afganistan and Iraq are very different wars that took place at the same time. I am not cutting you or your son down however any tax payer in America that helped foot the bill of billions of dollars has the right to answers that the gov't has not responded to questions didn't put your son in harms way the white house did
SarniaSteel 1 month ago
@SarniaSteel By "Where is it" I was saying that the oil everyone said we were there for isn't in America. As for the difference between the wars Iraq and Afghanistan I was not referring to that, although you are right in the fact that they are different. The main point of that comment was that the wars were for a reason, contrary to what the comment I replied on seemed to think. As for the rest of your comment I'm not sure what that was directed towards.
r1s1ngarmy 1 month ago
@silverdevil66 Since you seem to be unawares, I'll do a little friendly informing. Do you know what OPEC is? It's an acronym that stands for Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, of which Iraq is a member. You may be asking "What does this have to do with anything?", but it actually matters quite a bit. You see, OPEC controls all Petrol that leaves the members countries, from the quantity sent, to the price Petrol is sold at. This means that the US could not have invaded for oil.
plyinglemon 3 months ago
@plyinglemon
Sincerely.
Your a faggot!

Also it's you're.
plyinglemon 2 months ago
@plyinglemon oil exports in iraq in year more then doubled from 2005 to now also there are A lot of western oil companies getting contracted in iraq. Im not saying it all went to the US but some money sure did. A lot of companies made great profits off these two wars. Its has been stated a few times now that the were no wmd's in iraq and also its not anyone job to prove they were not there. Its the people whom took thousands of lives job to prove there was a reason!
SarniaSteel 1 month ago
@SarniaSteel No, no, and once again no. America exports more oil than most other countries in the EU and NATO. We export the oil we already have because it's high priced on the market. We do not steal oil, and then sell it.
ContinentalPatriot 1 month ago
@ContinentalPatriot Yes you are right but they export oil to canada and canada imports it back to save shipping cost. America is the largest consumer of oil aka the food of capitalism they roughly export 1 million barrels a day of a type of crude oil the import 11.1 million barrels a day and use a domestic supply of 9.4 million barrels a day roughly Americans use 19.5 million barrels of oil a day.
SarniaSteel 1 month ago
@SarniaSteel Not my point my point is that we don't bomb a country into submission then steal their oil for our own profit.
ContinentalPatriot 1 month ago
@ContinentalPatriot thats not at all what you said but I think very different I think the US is completely dependent on oil and will do whatever it takes to maintain cost. Power and Greed have done a lot to mans mind in our history and I think the Bush admin should be charged with war crimes. I will give you the benift of the doubt though if not for oil and money why did the US invade iraq ? why did they ignore the UN's requests?
SarniaSteel 1 month ago
@SarniaSteel It wasn't a reason at all. Companies seeing an opportunity to make money and taking it doesn't indicate that the Coalition governments were involved in the slightest.
plyinglemon 1 month ago
@plyinglemon Im not trying to offend you and I hope you understand that we clearly have different thoughts on how America is run. How ever the Bush admin has many ties to this. George W Jr. and Sr. have huge ties to the oil industry as im sure you are aware of. one that sticks out to me is the Bin Laden family and other members of Saudi Arabia's oil Wealthy elite contributed mightily to several Bush family ventures even as the American energy industry helped put Bush into office. why?
SarniaSteel 1 month ago
@SarniaSteel #3 that the bush administration was a oil admin. I know this may not prove anything to you but. Why did the US invade Afganistan when 15 of the 19 suspected hijackers called Saudi Arabia home? Why invade iraq with complete disregard for the UN's reports and facts of no WMD's? Its my right as a tax payer and a human being to ask these questions and get answers is it not ? Did my dollars not pay for the war ? I respect your opinion, and you paitriotism but I am allowed to have mine to
SarniaSteel 1 month ago

ContinentalPatriot 1 month ago
@ContinentalPatriot so the thousands of innocent Iraqies and Afgan's lives are just because americans pulled the trigger?

@SarniaSteel Idiot!!

SarniaSteel 1 month ago

SarniaSteel 1 month ago

Bobbalon 2 years ago 20
Funny you should mention that.
It wasn't until after I made the video that I realized how a song with US troops in the middle east looked with a song called "To Them These Streets Belong" I didn't intend for it to come out that way. I just wanted to make a war video and I liked this song
granit7f4d 2 years ago 17
In that case, its put together really well, and you deserve congratulations for a very good video
Bobbalon 2 years ago 23
@granit7f4d Why should god bless these troops ? You wont god to bless people who go to other countries and kill the population for money ? Or is it because they are american, and the other population is Afghanistani, so a racist issue ? Or simply god should bless everyone and u admit u made a mistake by specifically saying it about american troops ?

@R3M3MB3RxM3 its called a crusade dumbass every country had one including yours and btfw we went to the middle east because of 9-11 dumbfuck learn
GaryisaRoach 2 months ago
@GaryisaRoach Lolz... this isnt a crusade you moron. Read the definition before you throw a tantrum.
R3M3MB3RxM3 2 months ago
@R3M3MB3RxM3 dude it is a fuckin crusade where has america fought in the past 25 or 20 years? in the middle east leaarrrnnn
GaryisaRoach 2 months ago

@bored7661 the US troops occupy the streets, but they technically don't own it. derrr

@Bobbalon I don't get it why it's so unpatriotic in the US to not support militarism. It's sad, so glad to live in EU.

@Bobbalon i agree no one likes war in general but in alot of cases if those streets arent ours they belong to the taliban killers of freedom not the locals
