I love the "original" Guns and Roses, but even I find it kind of ridiculous that Slash is in the same line up as Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton. Replace Slash with Peter Frampton, and put Slash in a line up with Zack Wylde and maybe Eddie Van Halen (although, personally, I think even Eddie could mop the floor with Slash) because Slash isn't even close to Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton's status. Hendrix and Clapton are the Gods of guitar. Slash is just a really talented guitarist and nothing more.

Well, there is no greatest guitarist ever, Slash was the first guitarist i really knew, he made me want to buy a guitar and listen to rock, Hendrix made me want to experience guitar , improvise and do what i wanted with it, make it an art-Clapton however, taught me how to feel guitar and blues, how to pour your heart out with it and he probably influenced my style more than any other guitarist-however, without any one of them, i probably wouldnt be playing guitar
