@NitroExplosion88 amd sucks man all their CPU have 1 thread per core intel i3 has 2 threads with the hyper threading it has 4 threads just like i5 4 cores I think 4 threads or 8 i7 can have up to 12 with the i7 990x
I've always heard that even Microsoft uses AMD based systems, not Intel, unless something has changed. Intels are for Macs. The overpriced CPU belongs to the overpriced computer. Who really cares about the Nehalem CPUs when you have to dig deep into your wallet just to buy the CPU. If it wasn't for companies like Dell, Intel wouldn't have much in the OEM system market anymore because these companies are starting to use AMD more than ever in this economic crisis due to AMD's price to value ratio.
I do not like how intel acts as if they make the first, ture quadcore cup when infact is was AMD. i7 my ass, only people like bill gates can buy there shit expensive cups.
AMD Pehnom x4 is build from real Quad-core Architecture while Intel Core2 Q/QX Family is Duct-tape the CPU. What happen if AMD Duct-Tape their Athlon64 FX-71 and Duct-tape Athlon64 6200+ together?
Intel copy "AMD Hyper-transport" and make "Intel Quick-Path". About 5 years ago Intel said that increasing the L2 cache will improve performance which is not a need to have Inter-graded Memory controller.
Hyper-Threading is splitting each Core to 2 Logical core.You don't really see much improvement in Home/Gaming system but get performance drop. It only improve for server usage.
its possible to have a equal performing cpu without this kind of exacerbated money draining wattage. the hidden conspiracy in computer marketing is that the higher the component watts/heat goes the more dramatically this will lower processor performance
i think thats copyrighted? plus all you people talking about hyper transport. copy off of intel as well..... its called hyper threading duh. Amd is so cheap they had to use the same two letters LOL. AMD sucks.....alot.
you're wrong. Hyper threading and hyper transport is COMPLETELY different.
hyper threading is a virtual core added on/multi threading. Hyper transport is a direct communication line between the cpu, ram, and the gpu if i'm not mistaken. (AMD has onboard mem controller)
yup each core has its own pipeline shitel=2piplelines lol ther sad!
and intel is giong to steal amds true quads and amd's 45nm quads wich is a 45 nanometer quad if u didnt know
what were using now intel and amd
is 65 nanometer but sadly when amd makes that fresh from ther smart minds shitel will steal it~! and now since all the fags are buying shitel like dell amd is cutting jobs! buy amd and help them get ther non stealing business back
You can't really "steal" true quad-core design. When Intel comes out with their true Quad Core it'll most likely be a Xeon and also 45nm. I'm a bit disappointed about the Phenom and how it's gotten it's arse kicked by the Q6600 and Core 2 Quad Extreme. But I hear it runs fine OC'd at 3.0 Ghz on air.And maybe even higher if you have a mobo that'll let you increase the voltage to the processor and FSB. Bottom line is that Intel is for games and AMD is more for calculations and heavy editing.
good im with amd ati also smart chioce intel is giong to steal amds quad and also when amd releases ther 45nm qaud intel will steal that too! y dont people relize that intel take amds great chip ideas and boost up the clock on them i fucking hate intel!
Sadly, that's not the case my friend. Intel's dual C2D design has been kicking the "true quad-core"'s ass in gaming benchmarks. It looks like Intel only really appeals to gamers and I for one, am not a gamer.

@DDR3
AMD have made DDR3 memory CPU. The code name is Deben C3 Phenom II 945.
@Phenom vs Core i7
You shouldn't do this test as it is not a fair test. Core i7 is using DDR3 Tri-channel while Phenom still DDR2 Dual Channel.
@Native and Duct-Tape.

ya right give me a break intel stoled the L3 from amd, intel said they change after 13 years, ya they change alright took amd design.
but one good thing is that intel is using four core instead of 2 dual cores. [did bill gates buy into intel?]
