  • this guy seems more like a 3 to me. do any of you feel the same?

  • wow this is so true!!! it happpens to me all the time lol (so yeah.. im type 1 according to 8 dif. tests..)

  • sometimes though, i feel like my type, type 1 is eventually going to lead to my destruction, like im on that path already. I wish there was an easy way out, ive read the books and tried the exercises,,,but its so hard to change something that you are mechanized to do from such an early age...

  • me exactly

  • This gentleman has typed himself quite accurately!

  • Makes you wonder how many recovering Catholics out there are One-Twos.

  • this is the most significant type learning I have done in my entire life. Nothing even closely compares to the knowledge the enneagram provides when it comes to understanding who you are in this society. This should be taught at high school all over the world. Can't get enough of it.

  • @mrlplrofstngth , I agree this way, that it is the overall (C)ulture of spirit and understanding that must be arrived at first for it to include basic education. The origin of this typing is part of a larger training. It is said to be science, which is repeatable in every human circumstance. Bits and pieces can become like a dangerous mixed cocktail depending on who appropriates facets from its whole.

The point of knowing your habitual patterns of behaviour is to observe and TRANSCEND them.

  • my grandfather is a 1... but a very unhealthy one. could call him sick :)

  • Im a type one...and everything ive read is so true.
