He's some advice... I made a ball mill with a glass jar and glass medium (marbles..), and after a day or so it cracked a hole in the jar dumping ALL my aluminum into my mechanism. Try something that doesn't crack.

For you safety:

PLEASE do not use glass marbles. Believe it or not, they CAN spark and light you mixture while it is still in the mill, which as you probably know, would be bad.

Go to your local supermarket and get some large fishing sinkers. Not only will the weight of the lead crush what ever you're milling better, but it's lead and therefore will not cause a spark. Saves you a lot of money and pain from when those marbles light you mixture and combust.
