Myers is an example of yet another American who can go to Canada and be better than most Canadians in his age group in "their" sport.....many Americans have gone through the Canadian hockey system and gone to the NHL. Myers isn't the first nor the last. That being said, there are a lot more players choosing the American route these days too. College's are producing alot of NHL players/high draft prospects

Myers didnt go to the USHL, NCAA or usnd-18 program or any minor hockey in usa.
