Your translation's a little too literal (and at some parts the French is missing words)... here's what I have:

First movie I ever remember falling in love with, my first Disney memories, my first favorite Disney princess, and the first language I've taken a class for in school. xD Not many people can remember being three and four years old. This movie is the only reason I think I remember. Because I enjoyed it so much and some of my best bathtime memories had to do with my Ariel doll and singing this song. And when we would go to the beach, I remember wondering if Merpeople really existed...

I'm crazy for fantasy stuff, so to this day I've been trying to think of a way that, had they EVER existed, they could have survived. But I'm MOST obsessive over Nessie. <3 lol My Merpeople thing got a little pacified by the fact that there are people who are PAID to make and wear realistic mer-tails and swim in them. Because of their talents, they ARE REAL Merpeople and I want one of those tails so badly... :( Either way, this totally brings back memories. :')

i don't like this version. i think she sounds much too old for ariel and she has no emotions in her voice, the 1998 version is much better. Usually i hate the new versions but here i like it much more. The german 1998 is awful ....

You could say this is the default French version because in 2006 they got rid of the French 1999 dub and put this one in it's place
