This isn't true. Pigs do not live for 15 years in nature. In the wild the average pig lives about two months. That's a sixth of a year. Not 15 years. 15 Years is the maximum age a few pigs have reached. Saying pigs live 15 years is like saying humans live for 120 years. Just because a very few have lived that long doesn't mean that all or even most live that long.The reality is nature kills off most animals very young.

Has anyone noticed that meat doesn't taste good anymore? Maybe it's because of the antibiotics and hormones in meat, but something is definitely wrong. I am from the 60's and it was out of the ordinary to see anyone overweight. Now most folks in the U.S. are overweight including kids. Diabetes is on the rise including juvenile diabetes, and people are sicker now more than ever!

I really hated factory farmers but when I saw Food Inc. I realized that they have to abide by the inhumane guidelines. Personally I did eat meat most of my life. I did try going vegie several times. I have now gone vegie and will stay vegie. And there is so much cruelty in the dairy industry too so I'm trying to go vegan or at least near vegan.

When you talk about stressed animals, I percieve that you mean well treated or free ranging. Anyway I don't generally eat meat that has been raised on farms, becsue of the foods they are fed. I mostly eat wild meat, much healthier for you. Not that I won't enjoy the other once in a while.

Has anyone noticed that meat doesn't taste good anymore? Maybe it's because of the antibiotics and hormones in meat, but something is definitely wrong. I am from the 60's and it was out of the ordinary to see anyone overweight. Now most folks in the U.S. are overweight including kids. Diabetes is on the rise including juvenile diabetes, and people are sicker now more than ever!

I really hated factory farmers but when I saw Food Inc. I realized that they have to abide by the inhumane guidelines. Some factory farmers may hate the way they are forced to house these precious creatures, or go out of business.I see things a little differently now, but I don't think I'd have the heart to live with myself knowing that I am the cause of making a living being suffer. It's sad that this country does little to promote free range farming, because it's better for humans & animals.

But not many people are willing to think about the way we are heading, we breed like mad (depending on the area) and consume and need the space for agriculture, housing, development. When you talk about stressed animals, I percieve that you mean well treated or free ranging. Anyway I don't generally eat meat that has been raised on farms, becsue of the foods they are fed. I mostly eat wild meat, much healthier for you. Not that I won't enjoy the other once in a while.

I am not sure what you mean by less stressed animals, if you are refering to ree range, or better treatment in general.
But conditions in what is being shown here would be pretty stresful and it must change.
But I will say, most farmers will be very good in the say they handle thier livestock.

If you go to a video where an ethnic tribe is slaughtering their catch of the day, or a rural village preparing a hog to be their feast, you'll see hippies and tree-huggers react very badly and post shit on the comments... yeah, culture shock perhaps. I dont get vegan people.... Yea its cool, you do what u feel is right. If you dont want to eat meat, then thats cool. But why the hell do you have to shove all your vegan bull shit to non vegans? Us "vegan" people are trying to show that the meat you are eating is simply an animal that had no life. It is extremely unethical to treat animals like this let alone eat them. I would definately rather not eat meat than know that right now these poor animals are stuffed into transportation vehicles suffering. If u can sit there and watch this video, read under more info, and still say thats vegans are "pussies" then you should jump off a fucking cliff.

You just need to get over it, these animal suffer and die and get eaten cuz thats what they were put on this earth for. In what way will it help or make a difference if you dont eat meat? Most of the population need animal products to live. You can say its unethical but what company is ethical now days? Go eat a steak or a burger and you might change your mind, and vegans are pussies cuz you let your emotions take over you.

just because most companies are unethical doesnt mean you should just jump on the ban wagon. And my emotions definately dont take me over lol, if u met me u wouldnt even know i was a vegan. You can believe whatever you want, but i know that animals were not put on earth simply to be eaten and wasted by the humans. This is the problem with people these days, they all think the world revolves around them, and everything is theres to use, you dont really know what youve got until its gone.

Ok, then what other purpose are animals here for? Either way they will be used by humans wether its for food or for labor lik farming and stuff. Im not jumping on any band wagons, if i were i wouldve become vegan cuz apperantly thats the new "cool" thing to do. Plus not all animals are eaten, its only cows, pigs, some poultry, goats, sheep (depending on the culture you live in). And eating animals isnt a waste, most of the meat is used anyways.
