@Shareallicu dude the loop is like the best part, you don't even feel like ur upside down at all though since it's so fast. There are a hidden micket when you go on that loop, right on the ground you'll see micket's hear :D
Somebody told me about an accident that happened on this ride a few years ago where someone got killed on it :-{ Is that the accident you're referring to?? And what are these "trims" you're talking about?
I haven't ridden 'Screamin' since 2003, so sorry if I'm not up to date w/ the ride's recent add-ons since then.
Actually I dont believe that anyone has died on California Screamin'. And these "trims" I speak of are brakes that are used to regulate the trains speed throughout the course. There are tow of these trim brakes on California Screamin': One before the loop and one set before the bunny hills.
It may have been a rumor that someone died on that ride... they said that the train the guy was sitting in crashed into the train ahead of them, and he died when his neck whiplashed on impact, causing it to snap while the shoulder harnesses were still locked in place, almost like a vice grip. But I couldn't understand how that could happen if the ride has PSI brakes on it since it's a timed LIM launch model rollercoaster.
Yeah, I saw that BTMR incident reported on the news when it happened, but somebody told me that someone also got killed on Screamin' a few years back. Guess it was a misunderstanding on their part.
May I have permission to use one portion (launch) of the audio for my vid, I already have it thanks to Youtube Downloader but I wont use it unless I'm legally allowed to.
I'm going to Disneyland @ the end of this year and I want to go on this ride, except i'm a "loop virgin". What is the loop on this coaster like? Is it alright for "my first loop"? lol
It'll get all of your basic Roller Coaster elements into one ride--launch, loop, lift hill, bunny hills, lots of turns, etc., so you should be alright.
I like everything but the loop... hehe I've never been to disney land

Its a real shame they added trims to the ride. It used to be one of the best coasters in CA.

Thats true. But thanks to that accident a few years ago, Disney had no choice but to add the trims. :( RIP Pre Trims California Screamin'.

Thanks for filling me in on that info.

The person who died wasn't on this coaster. He was killed on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad when the lead car derailed.

No one was killed on California Screamin but people did suffer injuries when an air valve caused the brakes to fail which caused two trains to crash.
