What gave me a total "WTF" moment during this flick was the super rare live perfomance by Howie Pyro's NYC Punk group, The Blessed, at Max's Kansas City. Suzy Putrid and the Mental Deficients were also pretty killer, albeit they're a fictitious group.
thanks for posting this. I've been trying to study the CoT for the last year adn a half, and it's hard to track everything down. Zedd seems to be a far better promoter than filmmaker. I'm partial to the modern transgressives like Andy Copp, Bill Hellfire, and Scooter McCrea.
You can finally buy They Eat Scum on DVD--complete with, it seems, a copy of the original VHS box--but mine came from the original VHS. I don't think I need to buy the DVD...maybe...

I have an .avi of this movie and the 1st 10 min is about all I've been able to sit through. I've tried 3 times - it's just too bad. And my standards aren't that high XD
Is it any mystery why the dear Nick Zedd panhandles for money in Williamsburg and lives with a fat ex girlfriend who he occasionally has to give oral pleasure to, to put a roof over his head? The dear dunce has no talent and this unwatchable trash has proven the dear point.

I like the really grimey VHS quaility and the absurdity but you're right. This is kinda boring. Zedd can wow you but its not so often.
