Yes..deaf culture are very tight knitted deaf community. Washington DC is very high populated deaf people because of Galladuet Univeristy. Lot of police officers need to understand how they need to learn to communicate with deaf people instead of beating them up. Polices need to take sign language classes. One second me and this guy, Jacob, and our friend T were talking and having a good time, the next, the bouncer of the club grabs the two of them and pushes them outside for no apparent reason. T and Jacob are both hard of hearing, and the bouncer was in plain clothes, there was no way to tell he was a bouncer, just some guy pushing them around. I turned around, I saw the bouncer about to hit T when he was down on the sidewalk 8 feet away.

What people fail to understand is that if a suspect is resisting any means of force may be used from foot strikes, to elbow strikes, to open fist strikes etc.. until the person is restrained.
The cops did not go to far. You can clearly see the guy was resisting. As for the kick, that is a strike to get the guy to give up his hands.
If they had continued to beat him after he was cuffed then they would have gone too far, but it stopped as soon as he was secured.

did someone even mention to the cop that this person was deaf? because i recall that you're suppose to inform the cops that you're deaf. if not, they just assume you're resisting and will attempt to subdue you. otherwise, u're just screwed and out of luk. also, you should contact your local deaf services that provide contact such as interpreter service and inquire about a card that will identify you as a deaf. carry that on u at all time.

One second me and this guy, Jacob, and our friend T were talking and having a good time, the next, the bouncer of the club grabs the two of them and pushes them outside for no apparent reason. T and Jacob are both hard of hearing, and the bouncer was in plain clothes, there was no way to tell he was a bouncer, just some guy pushing them around. I turned around, I saw the bouncer about to hit T when he was down on the sidewalk 8 feet away.

I m deaf. I want to know where did it happened. What s city? We want to take serious action against that police department. I had some bad experience with the cops that misunderstood me as violent person but I was using my sign language to communicate. I asked officers for pen and paper but they thought I threathen them. The officers need to go back to school and educate them about disabled people that they cant cross line or their police department will spend dollars of millions in the lawsuit.

I am Deaf. Those officers violated his rights as he can't communicate with his hands behind his back! If he didn't get an interpreter at the jailhouse, the number of violations officers committed will already increased thus putting them in a deeper shit. A Deaf man in Mobile, Ala got tasered while in bathroom and his family already filed a million dollar lawsuit. Expect one on them.

What people fail to understand is that if a suspect is resisting any means of force may be used from foot strikes, to elbow strikes, to open fist strikes etc.. until the person is restrained.
The cops did not go to far. You can clearly see the guy was resisting. As for the kick, that is a strike to get the guy to give up his hands.
If they had continued to beat him after he was cuffed then they would have gone too far, but it stopped as soon as he was secured.
