I've never played the sims 2, but I love both the sims 1 and 3 music. Steve Jablonsky did a great job with the 3rd installation of the sims franchise. There is something about the Sims 1 music that can't be touched, I will agree.

I'd really like for Thomas Newman to compose music for the Sims and for them to bring back this piano lead.

Hell, I just want my Sim to buy a piano and become a musician on that.

Sims 3 music sounds too Hollywood-ish. Sims 2 music was too kid-oriented. Sims 1 music was the best and had that special charm you can't get anywhere else.

sims 3 songs are just annoying and pisses u off. Sims 2 was like, this is gonna be annoying after an hour of building. sims 1 never got old.

@AnsamEntertainment I disagree about Sims 2. Much of the music from that game and its over 9000 expansions was quite good, and very catchy. But it's true that the base game's music could get a little annoying, the best stuff came out of University. Arch of the Sim? Arch of the Win.

Although, I think you're right about Sims 3. It's not bad music, it's just not very... good.

I love this music and I used to love playing The Sims 1! But since The Sims 2 came out, I have only been playing The Sims 2. Now I can't wait for The Sims 3! xD
