Gotta give you guys kudos for making it all from scratch. I went the easy route this year and ordered a precooked dinner from the store (I was sick) and heated it up. Hope your holidays go great.

And if you do take little Gizmo chasing next year, remember he's a dog and that he needs the proper care and exercise - not always an easy thing to do when chasing. :)

brine your turkey overnight in a solution of 2 cups koster salt, 2 cups brownsugar, allspice cloves, cinnomon sticks and 1 cup orange juice, 1 cup lemon juice.

then ccok your turkey in the oven with wings and legs covered in aluminum foil til it approaches 161F...remove foil...til it gets to 161F and then remove oven and let stand for 30 min before cutting. To carve use electric knife and remove legs and wings first, then each breast..then slice breasts against grain to form thin slice.

yorkies are awesome. i always thought any dog you could punt over the back fence wasnt a dog.. until my parents got themselves a yorkie they named xena.. im amazed every time i visit at her intelligence and how "human like" she acts. you can tell clearly how she's feeling by the tone of her barks and growls -- SHE DOESNT NEED WORDS!!!

The way to cut a turkey is to use a long electric razor knife. Those do perfect cuts everytime.

Oh my goodness, you can't put the stuffing in the turkey! You could get sick! Stuffing is done out of the turkey, that's why it's called 'dressing'. And my friend Jessie found out on accident that if you bake the bird upsidedown, the white meat comes out really juicy. And for god's sake, buy a peeler! That kitchen needed a little feminine touch. Lmao Not bad though for a bachelor Thanksgiving. :) Nothing caught fire, and nobody got burned. ^_^
