  • @OblivionVideos01 it's not hard to put back together here's a tip when u push the back together where the little catches are push downs as well as sideways

  • @bainesjenbaines Its not really that hard you just need the right screw driver thing (torx-t8) and then its a breeze as long as you use this vid, and some people might make it sound hard to put it back together but thats just as easy as taking it apart just about (you should look up a tutorial just in case). I'm sure you can do it just give it a try I did it and my controllers are ok.

  • where do u get the torx t8 security driver from?

  • @AndyXtrm with most computer parts and electronic motherboards/ chipsets they will absorb all the static in your fingers and will destroy your device.

  • I disassembled the controller exactly how you did step by step... But i cant reassemble it. : ( Could you please make a reassemble tutoral?

  • if it weren't for you i wouldn't have found the 7th screw covered by the sticker

  • Honestly this video is unwatchable as your phone is vibrating the entire time. What is the point of setting your phone to vibrate until you answer it if you are never going to answer it. Not only is it rude and annoying in public you actually shot a video while doing it. I wish I could dislike this twice.

  • now i can combine my broken white one with my newer black one to make a multi coloured controller :)

  • MyCustomXbox@ ive had my xbox controller for years and know my analogs sticks are loose and i dont know to fix it or tighten it. • appreciate your vid...only part i needed was the 7th screwhole...(damn you microsoft, good thing im a tech FTW!) my controller got dipped in some Jim Beam and Dr. Pepper...so in my infinite wisdom i took out the battery and shoved it in a bag of rice...well it started to work now i was stuck with a MW Salt Shaker... clean up the ckt brd via isopropyl* and im golden...so again... thanks...

  • Pin* not punch

  • I love you... but to break the punch on the screws all I did was just take a Philips and put it on the side of the pin and push out then you can use a T10 star screwdriver to unscrew it:) just sayin'

  • Or do what I did!!! Smash it and break the screws off of the circuit board in the middle and the controller on the sides... then use the controller without the case :)

My RT stopped working so thats how I fixed it!

  • how did u remove the pin in the screw?

  • @xXEvilxWescerXx no need to remove the pin, your screw must be with hole.

  • What type of Screw drivers do you use

  • @AniiMallz torx t8 security driver.

  • @MyCustomXbox where might i be able to acquire one of these screw drivers?

  • @MyCustomXbox HELP!!! So my xbox controller will not detach where the mic connection is... PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS!!!! I have been wiggling it around a lot but it still wont come off!! • @MyCustomXbox I have also watche this video multiple times but still am afrai to rip it apart :0

  • @MyCustomXbox nuh uh, torx t9 is the right size, t8 wrecked the lil nipple thing in the middle of the screws. trust me t9 fits perfect its not t8

  • @MyCustomXbox Where do u buy those screwdrivers. I know from ebay but any normal stores?

  • @MyCustomXbox I bought the torx T8 screw diver, but the screws in my remote have this little piece sticking out, so the screwdriver wont go in..... PLEASE HELP

  • @ZadeCoDfish It needs to be the "Security" or also called "Tamper-proof" version. Regular Torx T8 won't work

  • @ZadeCoDfish MY CUSTOM XBOX ANSWER HIS QUESTION PLEASE

  • @ZadeCoDfish you need a security one... thats what the security stands for... you need one with a hole in it

  • @ZadeCoDfish its called a t8 tork security theirs a difference between a t8 tork and t8 tork security

  • @ZadeCoDfish buy the screw driver on there site for 5$, they have the t8 with a whole in it.

  • @ZadeCoDfish what i do is use a very small screwdriver and break the lil peg sticking out ,then the torx t8 screwdriver fits,

  • @ZadeCoDfish That is not a T8 then, the T8 has a hole in the middle so the little thing on the screw can fit in it.

  • @ZadeCoDfish the reason for this is because xbox realized how many people were making modded controllers to cheat in cod and halo games. So they decided to be buttholes and put that little piece in there so people can't do that. however somebody made a screwdriver to fit that. it's called a torx t8 "security". The security is what makes the screws not work with a standard t8. Good luck looking for one. You can find them at sears or online.

  • @ZadeCoDfish i got a torx T8 screw driver for £4.09 and it works IL pm u the site if u wana

  • @ZadeCoDfish i just got a little flat head and broke that little pin type thing off

  • @ZadeCoDfish you need a Torx security srewdriver

  • @ZadeCoDfish You need a T8H Torx screwdriver, you can get them on Ebay or Amazon for under £3/$6. Make sure it has the "H" or "Security" in the Name/Description.

    Hope that helps :D

  • @ZadeCoDfish a small flathead can go between the pin and the side of the screw and you can use the flathead to unscrew the screw as opposed to torx. just push hard and remove slowly and the screw will come out without stripping and the torx is not even needed

  • @ZadeCoDfish i just used a small flat head screwdriver, it was a perfect fit just a little off centered!!

  • @ZadeCoDfish break the piece off then your good to go.

  • @ZadeCoDfish you need the torx tamper resistant driver (as he said)

  • @ZadeCoDfish you have to buy it on amazon thers supposed to be a piece sticking out then there wil be a hole in the end of the screwdriver

  • @MyCustomXbox can we group orders together when purchasing multiple items from your sight. respond asap cuz christmas is commin up plz.

  • @AniiMallz Torx t8H (h= holes)

  • can u do a quick video on how to undo the screws WITHOUT a torx T8 screwdriver? like how to break the security pin.

  • @JiqSawRaNdOmZ I used a flathead screwdriver that was a little larger then the ones used for repairing glasses. I just twisted it into the screw until it caught. Worked pretty well.

  • can you paint ontop of the new black xbox controllers? because all i see in the videos are the old white controllers?

  • k my circuit board will not come out, it seems really stuck in there. what should i do ?

  • I have a 2-3 year old xbox 360 remote. I also have one of the special edition xbox remotes (the one with the twistable dpad). I want to use my new remote but i dont because the lack of vibration in the remote. I want to replace the new remotes rumble pack with my old one because my old one has more vibration and I play better with more vibration. How do I do that? Just unplug the rumble packs and replace swap them? Or is there something in the circuit board that determines the vibration?

  • What can i do to fix my controller if i was changing the leds and one of the points to put the negative side of my led is gone and i can can see is white and there is no medal left to have it connect.

  • I wish i could do that but i will mess it up :/

  • You should do FPS control freeks

  • thank you for the triggers!

  • can you take the dpad off with a T8?

  • What about the black xbox 360 controllers is it any different?

  • @SingaporeanDUDE no i have a black one, their EXACTLY the same, other than color. And I have an Xbox360 elite, will THAT make a difference?

  • ok i want to swap the why config with the RB config so in cod when i press RB it wepon swaps. is that possible?

  • @01s34n dood thats an in-game setting you idiot..

  • Idk wats wrong with mine bit I can get all the screws out except the one behind the battery pack and idk y so can anyone tell me wats wrong

  • @mycoustomxbox how long does it take for the screw driver to ship to your house

  • if you loose the springs for the triggers, most regular pens use the exact same spring. I prefer the PS3 controller in terms of gameplay and design, but when it comes to disassembling the Xbox controller is easier, xlusively cuz of the triggers, the ps3 triggers fall out right away, and putting 'em back in place so that they work properly with the springs is A PAIN, my first controller's right trigger is still not popping back out properly after my very first attempt to disassemble a controller

  • would it have been too easy just to make them regular screws?

  • i cant get my screw under the serial code out with my TORX T8 ?? HELP

  • @RaPiiDxGAM1NG Do you need to get the serial code off? I just went down to the kitchen to get a sharp thin knife to get at it. Took about 5 minutes of trying to get the edge of it, then I gradually managed to peel it off :P The screw-driver doesn't work, USE A KNIFE

  • when i took apart my controller to put LEDs in and put it back together my LB button isnt working correctly for example when i throw a stun in cod it doesnt throw the stun can some one please help me

  • i looked at this tut when i was twelve, i had absolutely no idea what in hell were you talking about. now, that i'm fifteen, it's as easy as pie. actually baking pie does seem easier, however the only "hard" thing i found was acquiring the t8 driver and an airbrush for the painting. is there any other way that using an airbrush for the paint? thanks.
