Wow. It is pretty sad when person strictly defends the constitution and gets slandered for it. I like Gravel a lot better than the other dems but Ron Paul knows we need less government. He knows how to end corporatism as well.
In the Chomsky interview to the right he again contradicts himself! Sorry but Chomsky has lost a lot of credibility and is making now too many excuses and talking of things from an opinionated and narrow perspective. He says that Big government is a good thing and later says it is a bad thing and he speaks as if in the same length wave as Ron Paul but then he says he prefers Hillary over him? Paul would stop the billions sent to Israel for weapons. Chomsky supports whoever supports Israel.
Chomsky has some good points about Ron Paul. Thanks Rep press for bringing that to my attention. It didn't totally convince me. But I saw another article that said RON PAUL VOTED AGAINST IMPEACHING BUSH. That is when he lost my support.
Can you please forward the link to that article? I know Ron Paul is a staunch critic of his own party and the past administrations including this one, but would be interesting to find out why he wouldn't vote for Bush's impeachment. Could it be because having Chenney would be worse? Please send me the link. Thank you
Are you subscribed to Israel Shamir's newsletter? If not, I will be glad to provide the information, i think you would like it. Chomsky has changed his mind again about a few key issues which is placing in question his credibility. He finds himself now propelling improbable theories with no basis whatsoever, one of them being his Ron Paul stance. Chomsky, as well as Israel Shamir, appreciate too much the money USA is giving Israel and would not sponsor a candidate who would stop sustaining it.
paul lied wow that is wow you know rep press i enjoy your videos i do they are very informative but to count out paul because he lied wow re you sure your not trying to get endorsements from f o x news or something that is like saying we should not take willie nelson seriously just because he smokes p o t
factorywolf ? I think a politician should not lie, you don't care? I don't care if a politcian smokes pot as long as he isn't high when he is trying to perform his duties.
repre Your quote up there is not a lie. It is a point of view. There is nothing deceptive about it. That is what he believes. I know a lot of people that would agree with him.
The last few videos you have moved away from the objective and good journalism I saw in your early videos. You clearly done what the mass media has done. You pick a candidate you want to see win (Mike Gravel) and then you slander everyone else. I hope you find your way back so that I may once again be a subscriber to your videos and be proud of it.
Representativepress, I have always agreed with your vids, and although I agree that Gravel would be the best candidate, his chances of winning are none b/c he has no money and he's too old for a candidate. I supported kucinich, Biden, Dodd, Gravel and Edwards on foreign policy, but now Im voting for Obama, because I know his voting record has been much more liberal than Hillary. Hillary's voting record on foreign policy has been so similar to neo-cons that it is sickening.
Actually, he's ensuring he keeps his seat while running for president. His supporters would like to see his voice stay in Washington DC. We want to keep the message alive in DC and Ron is one of the few bringing that message.
His own district doesnt even like him. Most of the time they just elected him because he was a republican, now they are getting someone who is pro military industrial complex. He should not take money from people for that cause, you cant have it both ways. If thats his motive, then he should do as Kucinich did.
Lies, again. Ron raise more money, by Americans. I See Monkey Mike is ticking like a Zero, still. ha ha Ron Paul, beats Mike in a long shot. If you wonder why, I call Monkey Mike a Monkey. It's Because, Mike believe in evolution. ha ha
You mean NAZI Paul who cant make up is mind whether he wants to run for congress or pres. He is a ZERO, A NOTHING, A LOSER. A failure as a legislator. Never had a bill he wrote become law. His own district doesnt even like him. Paul is taking money under false pretenses to fund his bid for congress, then he will leave the race.
As a politician who is currently serving in the house and running for president, he has the right to run for both Presidency and as a representative, he doesn't have to chose from one or the other. Look at it as a back-up plan. Furthermore, there is nothing Nazi about Ron Paul, he is all the opposite to fascism and Nazism as he wants to make government smaller not larger, and he wants to restore your freedoms and eliminate the patriot act, secure the borders, bring troops home, end imperialism.
If wants to be taken seriously, then he had better make up his mind. And yes he is a Nazi and a lying two faced racist. Google up "Ron Paul White Supremist"
I've never heard of Jack Shepard until now, when I watched this video. He ain't getting my vote. I just read his plan for Iraq and he wants to keep us there like McCain.
samsticka, could you provide a source for your claim? I linked to his positions, what you are saying is not true. Even the straight forward question "Should the United States withdraw its troops from Iraq?" is asked he doesn't say no like McCAIN does, he says "Undecided" and if you look at his plan he talks about bringing the reserves home an redeploying the rest and having countries in the region help out. .
So he is not "like McCain" Shepard says if the "planned redeployment of our American troops fighting Iraq has not been implemented I promise to immediately implement it." That ISN'T what McCain says.
So come on man, I gave you links to the info, why do you insist on misrepresenting him? Is this a typical Ron Paul supporter tactic? invent your own facts?
NIGHTMAREuki, instead of saying it is "retarded" why don't you try to respond to what I say which is that people shouldn't vote for McCain or Paul, You actually think people should vote for one of those two? I am saying that if you are voting in the Republican primary, Shepard is better.
I just read what Noam says in that link you provided, I respect Noam alot he definitely and have read a few of his works but what he goes against Paul for is not that big of a deal. To Noam, We should provide everything for everyone. If You really look at the way he speaks and his viewpoint on governments role, he would be considered a communist.
and I was just thinking, that will take care of the cold hearted policy against Native Americans who are being told not to grow hemp. The anti-drug mania has hurt them and the hemp they want to grow or try to grow doesn't even get you high. The sick thing is the US Gov. at one time encouraged it because it was determined that the hemp was one of the best crops for them and now the US Gov. is telling them they can't grow it. It is another crime.
dont vote for paul? heh ron paul and mike gravel are the most compatible nonpartisan team possible, maybe kucinich as well but he's out. id like to see paul/gravel 08 as a reality, but is only a theoretical dream team in this corporofacist system
how can u love gravel and not love ron paul he is the best of the best and he speaks for the people can u please explain im kinda lost maybe theres something i dont know
REPRESENTATIVE PRESS I think you've finally lost your mind...
Thanks for letting me waste my time looking at Jack Sheppard. His whole campaign can be summed up with APAIC/Hillary, outside of that his candidacy is a JOKE. He's even quoted as saying he wants to keep the same "Bushie" administration.
I can't believe you would actually think this guy is somehow a better choice on the GOP side than Ron Paul.
He's more like Ron Paul's mentally challenged brother.
Please don't vote for McCain or Paul? Okay representativepress, enoughs enough. Your videos have really been getting obnoxious lately, I think I'll unsubscribe.
I hope you can vote for Mike! I would have written him in on my ballot, but that wasn't an option. Fortunately, for the general election I will be able to write him in if he doesn't appear on the ballot. Democracy at it's finest- NOT! Gravel in '08!
Yay for you. He got an astounding 4%. By the way, before you get all high and mighty, I also voted for Ron Paul as a protest vote. (Because Mike wasn't on the ballot and I couldn't vote for None of the Above). Several other family members voted for him as well. So, who's the dumbass? People (like me) who wouldn't vote for him at all (except as a protest) still voted for him and he still couldn't do any better than 4%...
in other words the entire world hates us for carrying out Israel's imperialistic goals and for protecting them and for financing them. Over the next 3 years USA will give Israel 36 billion dollars of tax payers money for their "defense". That money could be used for so many other things here in USA, like improving salaries, VA services, help fix and improve the abandoned infrastructure, improve education, etc.
Unfortunately, Representative Press, No write-ins were allowed in Virginia. They didn't even have an option for none of the above. And we call this a democracy? I WILL be voting for Mike Gravel in November, even if I have to write him in (which you can do for the general election)...
In my state (NY) they used the old fashioned vertical electronic machine with the big lever. No write-in, no paper trail. And I swear the ones running the show there where not from this country; not a single one of them. Stolen elections again by non-American interest groups who have infiltrated everywhere. Stalin used to say those who count the votes are the ones who decides the outcome of the election. Same thing. A Bolshevik revolution is coming.
Israel has a very long history of backstabbing. Look up "USS Liberty", and the "Lavon Affair". Israel was quite involved on the Sept 11 2001 attacks as well. I wouldn't count on Israel to bail USA out of anything. They have used the USA to their advantage from day one and they are not going to risk themselves. Why, Just recently the Chief Rabbi Ashkenazi thanked Bush for waging the war against Iraq, right after the release of another study indicating USA has murdered more than 1,000,000 in Iraq
your right but why would israel attack america. i'll answer that, i know about the uss liberty and what the did, the did that because they wanted to bring in the United staes in the war. the people said they did not want to fight for israel, but israel and the lobby send " we will make an attack on the us and the people of america will die for us" thats why if america crumbles israel crumbles to, remeber the war in lebanon the 1000 hezzbollah fighters destroyed the israel defence, Party of god
Ron Paul's cuts and elimination of the IRS and the Federal Reserve will offer far more benefits to USA citizens in the short and long term. Amongst the cuts, he will bring troops home and end the war which he denounces is for Oil, and he will cut all foreign aid, including the billions of dollars sent annually to Israel, of which 70% goes to their military. If they don't get that money, they will have no choice but to learn to live in peace with their neighbors and make a deal.
Ron Paul is not an extremist! Are you afraid you might not get your welfare check? Are you afraid that you might have to use your brain and invest in your own social security or retirement plan? Oh I know! You work for the IRS! Open your ears and listen to his message so you can try to defend your position! Once you do, you will switch!VOTE RON PAUL!!!
u2ci2i, you don't know what the hell you are talking about. "use your brain"? So people who get hurt economically are "dumb" is that it? When people suffer under this economic system it is their own fault? You have been brainwashed. Did you know that business spent millions of dollars to indoctrinate the American public? I'm going to have to make a video explaining all this.
You are right. Government has indoctrinated and brainwashed the masses for generations now. Questioning authority is regarded terrorism at this point. However, advocating to go back to the basics is not extremist. Homeland security is an unnecessary agency which is not doing what it is supposed to do; Protecting us. Instead Homeland security resemble the Gestapo, spying and taking away our freedoms. Soon they will start filling up their FEMA concentration camps. Ron Paul wants to restore freedom
brainwashed, let me say a little something about this, you have been using your brain but not to its full. well understand that history does repeat its self, and you will see the end of the american empire just speaking from my point of view, why america favors israel is not because they want to see the end of jews but to invest in another life. meaning when america crumbles israel will have to bail america out. because they are the only country that protects them from war crimes, "veto"
It truly does, and at this point the parallels with pre-Bolshevik Russia, pre-Spanish civil war and Cromwellian revolution are tremendously close. Look at the people behind those movements and our government to get an idea. They take over the media, then lock up and assassinate the intelligentsia and possible resistance, Then the persecution and mass killing of Christians follow. The soviets killed over 40 million of their own, far more than the alleged Nazi killings. Look up Ukrainian famine.
i did an essay on the the ukrainan genocide, but remeber you can never talk about hte holocast with being called a anti semite. well im arab and im a semite so i don't realy care, and i know that thoses jews did not die maybe 40000 thousands. but not that amount the zionists are talking about, nice talkign to u ur a smart man.
Israel has no need to attack America because Israel is controlling America (USA) trough all the corrupt politicians they bought and placed there and is using it to take all over the Middle east and Africa and all of their resources. They don't have to physically risk themselves when they can risk us instead and use us to do their dirty work. Now the entire world hates the United States because the USA "supports" Israel
hahah u calling me an idiot, look at ur country its bieng countroled by zionist your the idiot. just because israel give a couple million dollrs to politican don't mean u have to turn you back on your own country. you the idot and yourc ountry are idots look at russia the are smart they expled all the jews zionist. america has to wake up from its slumber. yourthe idot.
Considering that his views are economically far right, I don't think it is an incorrect statement. Whether or not you agree with them is another matter. Extremism is not always a bad thing in some circumstances, especially on fundamental issues that should not be compromised. That said, I disagree with Ron Paul's economic policies a great deal. I think a large part of his following is due to social libertarian leanings, and I think many people consider "no taxes" to be the cherry on top. :)
Why is that hollyhoodjoe? You afraid of real change? Or do you like the direction the United States is. The peoples stupidity and ignorance is the reason why this nations being coverted into a dictatorship. Until you empower the people and elect a real leader like Mike Gravel we will meet the same demise as Rome.
I say Gravel is bad for the country because he is for a national sales tax and he is for the national initiative. I don't like the idea of initiative in the state level.
And I definitely don't like it on the national level. And beside, Gravel can't motivate others to believe in his vision. He would split the Democratic Party before he unite the Congress.
But you just love the idea of corporation fascism, dont you. Demopussies party is spineless and gutless. He wouldnt take crap off of them. If you want to vote for a phony ass corporate puppet like Obama, thats your business.
I hate the idea of corporation fascism. But I'm not going to advocate a vunerable position like "All corporations are evil". That is a fallacy. We do need corporate reform and I believe Obama can unite Congress and get that done.
CEOs are getting paid an average ratio of 400 to 1, comparing their pay with the lowest paid worker. And that has to change.
You may not like the idea of compromising to accomplish goals but its the American way.
This is your stupid ass arguement. There are things you dont compromise on, like civil liberties. I dont give a GOD DAMN about uniting the congress, that is the biggest phony statements that he gives. For that matter, what has he done while he has be in office to unite the congress. Gravel within his 1st 4yrs of the senate filabustered the draft, read the pent papers, stop nuclear testing in the pacific north, started the AK pipepline, plus co authored a host of environ leg. How about Obama?
And thats why Gravel will never get his goals accomplished. Unfortunately, thats how the political process works. Sorry:(
And he united Congress before. His first law was passed with Republican Tom Coburn, a measure to rebuild trust in government by allowing every American to go online and see how and where every dime of their tax dollars is spent.
I agree with you on the civil liberties issues, but civil lib. will not be restored until the Dems take a larger majority.
Unfortunately for you all of the pie in the sky BULLSHIT Obama is selling you will never happen. If he had your kind of attitude, he never would have accomplished what he did. His first law Obama passed, tell me where is the money going that the pentagon has spent. How about Iraq. Dems taking a bigger majority is BULLSHIT. We put them in now and they have speeded up the rush to fascism, not stopped it. There is an unconfirmed rumor that Gravel and Nader will team up. Support fighters, not shills
His comprimising didn't get us into this crap. He understood the subprime mortgage crisis was going to occur, he said it in early 2002 that invading Iraq would be problematic. He knew giving Americans tax cuts while spending like crazy would lead America into greater debt.
And I believe if he becomes president, he will end the war, balance our budget, and pass a bill to prevent the subprime mortgage crisis from happening again,
I meant the compromising attitude in general not just specifically at Obama. As far as him being against the war, he continues to vote for its funding and he backed off some of his antiwar statements in 04 when he ran for the Senate. As far as ending the war, he along with Hilary and Edwards in the 9/26/07 debate all said that it would be at least 2013, now they just keep changing their statements around. You havent provided any proof that Obama has any plans to those problems. Just your beliefs
First of all, of course they are just beliefs. No one knows exactly what their favorite candidate will do when they become president.
Clinton supporters didn't know he'll get a BJ in the oval office, and Bush supporters didn't know that Bush would ruin American. But both supporters did feel like their candidate was the best candidate among their options.
And of course he has plans to attack those problemsE!!
A national sales tax will be the only way to pay off this 5 trillion dollar defecit that bush has created. If were ever to provide for the people of America and pay off our debt we need to change the illegal tax structure, or do you suggest keeping the IRS, keep devaluating the dollar so bush can move the the amero in hollyhoodjoe123 ?
A national sales tax will also dramatically increase the cost of mortgages. Adding a national sales tax (predicted to be 29%) to the average home mortgage (usually $300,000) will cause more people to opt renting. Also, the national sales tax will end the interest deduction that many Americans depend on.
And since the econony is heavily dependent on housing sales. This is cause a major decline on the economy.
First of all after, this law that you claim is so wonderful, tell us how your money is being spent at the pentagon. Second what is your background in economics to talk about taxes. Gravel spent 8yrs on the finance committee. Our economy is in decline now. How do you think Obama will pay for the goodies he is promising you. Hmmmmm, answer please. He cant. As Gravel pointed out. this is unadulterated bullshit.
I only background in economic I have is that I took a class in Economics, but that class has inspired me to declare a double major in both Economics and Accounting.
And Obama plan is not BS. He will end the Bush tax cuts that puts billions of dollars back into the richest 2% of the country. He will also eliminate loopholes that corporations use in order to prevent pay taxes. And he will raise the estate taxes of the rich to 28%.
According to the vote record, your boy didnt even bother to vote for a bill he co-authored. Yeah real leadership skills. NO THANKS with Obama. His plans are Bullshit because he cant pay for them and he knows it. With 30000 lobbyist in WA dont bet on that happening. What is dangerous about him is that he raises expectations and then cant deliver on them.
werebear1, I never "pretended" to oppose Bush, I oppose Bush and that isn't a secret, look at my work. My anti-Bush stance didn't prevent Shepard from supporting my positions as far as the main motive for the 9/11 attacks. THAT is why he is better than McCain and Paul and Bush. McCain is an extreme Zionist and Paul is an extremist who wants to dismantle the social safety nets and institutions of the last 80 years which workers have fought so hard for, that is totally unacceptable.
you completely misrepresent his views, he doesn't say he suddenly wants to get rid of social security or medicaid, he wants to create a situation where people aren't dependent on the government and therefor don't need the government to provide it first.
I'm not saying I agree with the poistion, but at least get your facts straight before you slander someone.
RevolutionaryJam, what the heck are you talking about? First of all I wrote "wants to dismantle the social safety nets and institutions of the last 80 years" AND THAT IS A FACT. Just because he wants to do it gradually doesn't mean I "didn't get my facts straight" YES Paul wants to dismantle the social safety nets and institutions, so what if he doesn't want to "suddenly get rid of them" I DID NTO SAY HE DID, BUT he does want to get rid of them and that is extreme and totally unacceptable.
look man, it ain't like he's gonna win or anything, don't you think it's good that he's using his platform to tell people on the right about so many things that have fallen on deaf ears all the while the left have been screaming about them?
No, Ron Paul is horrible and a liar. He claims "The government has nothing, produces nothing" He is such an extremist with his philosophical beliefs that he lies or is ignorant. He's never heard of the TVA? I am going to make a video about this, I am trying to expose all the lies which hurt Americans. Ron Paul is a liar, he is not "a good candidate" and I don't want to "RAISE HIS PROFILE"
repres:What exactly has Ron Paul lied about? I feel that I am pretty well researched on Dr. Paul. I followed him as a libertarian many years ago. It is one thing to dislike libertarian ideals and another to call somebody a liar.
judoskeleton, I put what he lied about in quotes, it is the example I give right after I say he is a liar, He claims: "The government has nothing, produces nothing" That is a lie. He is such an extremist with his version of "libertarianism", the one dominant here in America, which is this bizarre unbridled capitalism whose adherents deny basic realities, the example I pointed out above is just one of them.
meaning that the gov has nothing, produces nothing that it doesn't take from individuals through taxation, it's hardly a lie if he believes it when he says it, u could say he was inaccurate or wrong, but calling him a liar for one statement is akin to me calling u a slanderer (which I didn't do, i only addressed u on 1 issue)
To be honest man I think ur contributing to dividing movements (most importantly the anti-war) that would be stronger united and I think thats a shame. ill say no more.
you are trying way to hard to find fault with me. You claimed I "completely misrepresent " Ron Paul's views. I showed you that is false, you didn't acknowledge that fact. Now again you are acting like I am being "unfair" to Paul. Look at the thread, I first wrote "he lies or is ignorant." (happy?) It is then judoskeleton who fixated on the option of a liar and I point out WHAT it is that was the lie. But I have seen this guy in action, I resent him spreading falsehoods.
For the damage Ron Paul is doing, I think it is nitpicking to insist that EVERY single time I must mention that maybe he is just ignorant. Usually when a politician tells a falsehood people accept the characterization of "liar," So why give me such a hard time? And I pointed out the example of the TVA, yet you ignore it and respond with a capitalist talking point.
Most people are against the war, it is illogical to think I must refrain my accurate criticisms of Paul just because he is against it. And does he even know it was a crime? Why isn't he calling for impeachment? How "good" is he? Paul has horribly destructive ideas, those need to be pointed out. I am not going to be silent just because he is against a particular war. For God sakes, he is trying to get into a very powerful position from which he could do a lot of harm.
ok I understand ur position & I respect it - just cause he's against the war doesn't mean u shouldn't lay into him for economic policies. I don't acknowlegde u didn't misreprisent his views but lets not argue over that, rather agree to disagree.
I agree that I think you are being "unfair to him" as you put it, because as I say, no one on the right would listen to a word Chomsky said about the history of western Imperialism and other points i list above, but they listen to Paul, that is good.
Hey reppress, just one thing, don't mean to resume this argument because I understand we don't share the same opinion and I respect that, but on this video at about 8:58 Paul does indeed say "and it's illegal under international law", so he does acknowledge that it's a crime:
watch?v=nBnOUe7QclI
I agree that he should be calling for impeachment.
It is obvious that you don't agree with Ron Paul. That does not make it a lie. The fundamental difference between social liberals and libertarians has a lot to do with this statement. Social liberals believe that the government has to protect people and provide liberty as it is encroached upon by larger forces. I personally believe that the government is now used as a tool of these forces against liberty.
Your response to the quote seems a little out of context as I don't think you may not fully understand Ron Paul's "version" of libertarianism. This is the biggest difference between Gravel and Paul.
agreed, it's a difference in opinions over what teh role of government should be.
One example of this is (Rep Press) mentioning "does he even know it's a crime?" Paul is against membership of the UN because he doesn't believe in handing foreign policy over to another authority. The UN is painted like some kind of saint - it isn't! It doesn't do it's job with nations like Israel, got our countries involved in wars like Korea. It serves the elite. US = Bad Cop/UN = Good Cop. Both still cops!!
You don't agree with his position yet you frame your argument in his BS terms. What is this crap "dependent on the government?" As if working together and pooling resources to serve the needs of everyone makes someone "dependent?"
You make a false accusation against me and then you parrot the manipulative language of the capitalists.
You think people are "dependent" on the TVA, you think people would be better off without it? Give me a break! The TVA is swept under the rug by capitalists.
i feel you suggest he will cut all domestic spending and leave people to die in the cold when he's clearly stated in many interviews that he could not, would not, and so the spending would have to be cut abroad. I feel you are alienating many potential allies in many causes, I think you don't have to agree with all of someones postitions to stand with them where it really counts, and these are really great times to bring people from both wings together on those issues rather than being divisive.
i do not feel i am creating that impression, i gave an opinion and your viewers are intelligent and informed enough to agree or disagree with it, again, you know i respect you and often leave you with encouraging comments, please respect my imput as well even if you don't agree with it because it's not like I've ever called you a name, been rude to you or spoken disrespectfully, which is less than I can say for some people...
Representative press should acknowledge that in primaries registered democrats vote only democrat and registered republicans vote only for republican candidates. Promoting the republicans to vote for Ron Paul will not affect democrats supporting Gravel at all. They are both candidates, why can't we have good candidates in both sides? The president won't be chosen until the primaries are over after all.
werebear1, Ron Paul is NOT good. Ron Paul is an extremist who wants to dismantle programs and institutions which labor has fought so hard for. I will have to make a video explain all the "free market" propaganda and "rugged individualism" BS.
I have been quite supportive of you since your start. Ron Paul is against the Federal reserve which is the main reason why we have been involved in countless wars and conflicts since WW1 and the reason why we are drowning in taxes. The candidate you recommend as an alternative is supporting the Bush "Annapolis" solution which was doomed to fail from day zero since Israel wants to control everything from Egypt to Iraq. His intentions are good, but not as complete or encompassing as Paul's.
he is a good candidate and voting for him TO RAISE HIS PROFILE is worthwhile enough because he tackles THE FED, the war, wider US foreign policy that no one else touches upon on the right, corporatism (ie. gov collusion with capital+welfare to capitalist interests), military industrial complex, pharmaceutical industrial complex, etc.
Fact is he wont win, I don't understand why you won't give the man his dues for exposing what he does to people who wouldn't listen to it from the left!
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Warning! A level headed democrat would not vote for Gravel! I question the intentions of representativepress! representativepress is dividing the democrats and is urging people to vote for someone without any realistic chance of winning ! Your support of gravel will help the republicans! Nothing against Gravel though!
Your statement shows you done no research. Hillary and Obama might as well be a neocon as there intentions are to stretch the war past 2013. A vote for Hillary = A vote for Obama = A vote for Mccain... no difference, just more war for profit. Mike Gravel is the only anti war democrat not being funded by the Military Industral Complex. Please learn your facts mota307 before you post something stupid again.
I am a human before I am an American. And I am an American before I am a democrat. I am no longer a democrat; the party has sold themselves out. They are beholden to the military-industrial complex and represent continued American imperialism. I contend that it makes perfect sense for a level-headed HUMAN to vote for Gravel. He is going all the way to November unlike Ron Paul or Kucinich. However, perhaps your statement is correct, as I suppose you could call Democratic loyalists inhuman.
all im saying is choose the lesser of two evils, sounds simple enough doesnt it? however with the division i see in the democratic party/supporters ... im losing hope!
Both sides Democrats and Republicans are being financed (where bought) by the same interest groups and bound by affidavits. McCain is financed and stands for exactly the same as Hillary and Obama. The only candidates that where not bought by interest groups where Dennis Kucinich, Mike Gravel and Ron Paul. An example; Democrats got majority seats because they promised to end the war. They could have done it but did not because most of them where bound by conflicting affidavits. They Lied to US.
I am going to work at helping people to realize that the solution lies with the people, not our broken representative government.
Democrats, Republicans. It's all "good cop, bad cop". Either way the corporations win. Clinging to this corrupt system is a slave mentality that must be unlearned.
Fuck you and Fuck Ron Paul. McCain already got the nomination and he's not even thinking of running as an independent, Ron Paul also stated in his website that he shrunk the size of his national campaign.
Deal with it and vote for someone who is actually staying on race no matter what.
you are living in Denial. McCain has already won. If you don't want to accept that fact, I sure hope you don't kill yourself after he announces his dropping out soon.
He could have a chance as an independent not as a rep.
Ron Paul can identify a problem but offers no solutions. Uttering the words consitution is not a solution swaneaboy, government is corrupt we need to take the power from the one percent rich and empower the people as lawmakers on a nation level via the NI4D, Mike Gravels plan for real change. Besides Ron Pauls dropping out, you might want to consider voting for Gravel.
Ron Paul made it very clear that he is not dropping out. Get off the crack pipe.
He does offer solutions, Maybe if you would look passed the fact that he is a Republican and look at his solutions, you would see he is the only one with a " Logical " solution to todays problems.
What you are saying is to take from the rich and give to the poor, That is the most disgusting thing I have ever heard and the biggest problem the Democrats have. They are Socialists. This is " The Republic Of the U.S."

That is when he lost my support.
greywolf4744 4 years ago
Hello Greywolf.

As a politician who is currently serving in the house and running for president, he has the right to run for both Presidency and as a representative, he doesn't have to chose from one or the other. Look at it as a back-up plan. Furthermore, there is nothing Nazi about Ron Paul, he is all the opposite to fascism and Nazism as he wants to make government smaller not larger, and he wants to restore your freedoms and eliminate the patriot act, secure the borders, bring troops home, end imperialism.

samsticka 4 years ago
samsticka, could you provide a source for your claim? I linked to his positions, what you are saying is not true. Even the straight forward question "Should the United States withdraw its troops from Iraq?" is asked he doesn't say no like McCAIN does, he says "Undecided" and if you look at his plan he talks about bringing the reserves home an redeploying the rest and having countries in the region help out. .
representativepress 4 years ago
So he is not "like McCain" Shepard says if the "planned redeployment of our American troops fighting Iraq has not been implemented I promise to immediately implement it." That ISN'T what McCain says.
So come on man, I gave you links to the info, why do you insist on misrepresenting him? Is this a typical Ron Paul supporter tactic? invent your own facts?

Israel has a very long history of backstabbing. Look up "USS Liberty", and the "Lavon Affair". Israel was quite involved on the Sept 11 2001 attacks as well. I wouldn't count on Israel to bail USA out of anything. They have used the USA to their advantage from day one and they are not going to risk themselves. Why, Just recently the Chief Rabbi Ashkenazi thanked Bush for waging the war against Iraq, right after the release of another study indicating USA has murdered more than 1,000,000 in Iraq
werebear1 4 years ago
your right but why would israel attack america. i'll answer that, i know about the uss liberty and what the did, the did that because they wanted to bring in the United staes in the war. the people said they did not want to fight for israel, but israel and the lobby send " we will make an attack on the us and the people of america will die for us" thats why if america crumbles israel crumbles to, remeber the war in lebanon the 1000 hezzbollah fighters destroyed the israel defence, Party of god

If they don't get that money, they will have no choice but to learn to live in peace with their neighbors and make a deal.

u2ci2i 4 years ago
u2ci2i, you don't know what the hell you are talking about. "use your brain"? So people who get hurt economically are "dumb" is that it? When people suffer under this economic system it is their own fault? You have been brainwashed. Did you know that business spent millions of dollars to indoctrinate the American public? I'm going to have to make a video explaining all this.
representativepress 4 years ago
You are right. Government has indoctrinated and brainwashed the masses for generations now. Questioning authority is regarded terrorism at this point. However, advocating to go back to the basics is not extremist. Homeland security is an unnecessary agency which is not doing what it is supposed to do; Protecting us. Instead Homeland security resemble the Gestapo, spying and taking away our freedoms. Soon they will start filling up their FEMA concentration camps. Ron Paul wants to restore freedom
werebear1 4 years ago
brainwashed, let me say a little something about this, you have been using your brain but not to its full. well understand that history does repeat its self, and you will see the end of the american empire just speaking from my point of view, why america favors israel is not because they want to see the end of jews but to invest in another life. meaning when america crumbles israel will have to bail america out. because they are the only country that protects them from war crimes, "veto"
africanprince11 4 years ago
It truly does, and at this point the parallels with pre-Bolshevik Russia, pre-Spanish civil war and Cromwellian revolution are tremendously close. Look at the people behind those movements and our government to get an idea. They take over the media, then lock up and assassinate the intelligentsia and possible resistance, Then the persecution and mass killing of Christians follow. The soviets killed over 40 million of their own, far more than the alleged Nazi killings. Look up Ukrainian famine.

Israel has no need to attack America because Israel is controlling America (USA) trough all the corrupt politicians they bought and placed there and is using it to take all over the Middle east and Africa and all of their resources. They don't have to physically risk themselves when they can risk us instead and use us to do their dirty work. Now the entire world hates the United States because the USA "supports" Israel
werebear1 4 years ago
the USa does not support israel, zionist support israel. let me tell u something about zionism.
What is Zionism?
The foundations of Zionism were formulated in ancient times, some three thousand years ago, and they are:
1. The Jews are God's chosen people.
2. All other peoples are merely two-legged animals (goys).
3. The Jews have both the right and the obligation to rule the world

kyeot 4 years ago
I say Gravel is bad for the country because he is for a national sales tax and he is for the national initiative. I don't like the idea of initiative in the state level.
And I definitely don't like it on the national level. And beside, Gravel can't motivate others to believe in his vision. He would split the Democratic Party before he unite the Congress.
hollyhoodjoe123 4 years ago
But you just love the idea of corporation fascism, dont you. Demopussies party is spineless and gutless. He wouldnt take crap off of them. If you want to vote for a phony ass corporate puppet like Obama, thats your business.
truthout911 4 years ago 2
I hate the idea of corporation fascism. But I'm not going to advocate a vunerable position like "All corporations are evil". That is a fallacy. We do need corporate reform and I believe Obama can unite Congress and get that done.
CEOs are getting paid an average ratio of 400 to 1, comparing their pay with the lowest paid worker. And that has to change.
You may not like the idea of compromising to accomplish goals but its the American way.
hollyhoodjoe123 4 years ago
This is your stupid ass arguement. There are things you dont compromise on, like civil liberties. I dont give a GOD DAMN about uniting the congress, that is the biggest phony statements that he gives. For that matter, what has he done while he has be in office to unite the congress. Gravel within his 1st 4yrs of the senate filabustered the draft, read the pent papers, stop nuclear testing in the pacific north, started the AK pipepline, plus co authored a host of environ leg. How about Obama?
truthout911 4 years ago 2
And thats why Gravel will never get his goals accomplished. Unfortunately, thats how the political process works. Sorry:(
And he united Congress before. His first law was passed with Republican Tom Coburn, a measure to rebuild trust in government by allowing every American to go online and see how and where every dime of their tax dollars is spent.
I agree with you on the civil liberties issues, but civil lib. will not be restored until the Dems take a larger majority.
hollyhoodjoe123 4 years ago
Unfortunately for you all of the pie in the sky BULLSHIT Obama is selling you will never happen. If he had your kind of attitude, he never would have accomplished what he did. We put them in now and they have speeded up the rush to fascism, not stopped it. There is an unconfirmed rumor that Gravel and Nader will team up. Support fighters, not shills

truthout911 4 years ago
His comprimising didn't get us into this crap. He understood the subprime mortgage crisis was going to occur, he said it in early 2002 that invading Iraq would be problematic. He knew giving Americans tax cuts while spending like crazy would lead America into greater debt.
And I believe if he becomes president, he will end the war, balance our budget, and pass a bill to prevent the subprime mortgage crisis from happening again,
hollyhoodjoe123 4 years ago
I meant the compromising attitude in general not just specifically at Obama. As far as him being against the war, he continues to vote for its funding and he backed off some of his antiwar statements in 04 when he ran for the Senate. As far as ending the war, he along with Hilary and Edwards in the 9/26/07 debate all said that it would be at least 2013, now they just keep changing their statements around. You havent provided any proof that Obama has any plans to those problems. Just your beliefs
truthout911 4 years ago
First of all, of course they are just beliefs. No one knows exactly what their favorite candidate will do when they become president.
Clinton supporters didn't know he'll get a BJ in the oval office, and Bush supporters didn't know that Bush would ruin American. But both supporters did feel like their candidate was the best candidate among their options.
And of course he has plans to attack those problemsE!!
hollyhoodjoe123 4 years ago
Second I will stick with someone who has a record to stand on who is tough. Not a phony corporate jackass puppet like Obama.
truthout911 4 years ago
A national sales tax will be the only way to pay off this 5 trillion dollar defecit that bush has created. If were ever to provide for the people of America and pay off our debt we need to change the illegal tax structure, or do you suggest keeping the IRS, keep devaluating the dollar so bush can move the the amero in hollyhoodjoe123 ?
kyeot 4 years ago
A national sales tax will also dramatically increase the cost of mortgages. Adding a national sales tax (predicted to be 29%) to the average home mortgage (usually $300,000) will cause more people to opt renting. Also, the national sales tax will end the interest deduction that many Americans depend on.
And since the econony is heavily dependent on housing sales. This is cause a major decline on the economy.
hollyhoodjoe123 4 years ago
First of all after, this law that you claim is so wonderful, tell us how your money is being spent at the pentagon. Second what is your background in economics to talk about taxes. Gravel spent 8yrs on the finance committee. Our economy is in decline now. How do you think Obama will pay for the goodies he is promising you. Hmmmmm, answer please. He cant. As Gravel pointed out. this is unadulterated bullshit.
truthout911 4 years ago
I only background in economic I have is that I took a class in Economics, but that class has inspired me to declare a double major in both Economics and Accounting.
And Obama plan is not BS. He will end the Bush tax cuts that puts billions of dollars back into the richest 2% of the country. He will also eliminate loopholes that corporations use in order to prevent pay taxes. And he will raise the estate taxes of the rich to 28%.
hollyhoodjoe123 4 years ago
According to the vote record, your boy didnt even bother to vote for a bill he co-authored. Yeah real leadership skills. NO THANKS with Obama. His plans are Bullshit because he cant pay for them and he knows it. With 30000 lobbyist in WA dont bet on that happening. werebear1 4 years ago
werebear1, I never "pretended" to oppose Bush, I oppose Bush and that isn't a secret, look at my work. My anti-Bush stance didn't prevent Shepard from supporting my positions as far as the main motive for the 9/11 attacks. THAT is why he is better than McCain and Paul and Bush. McCain is an extreme Zionist and Paul is an extremist who wants to dismantle the social safety nets and institutions of the last 80 years which workers have fought so hard for, that is totally unacceptable.
representativepress 4 years ago
you completely misrepresent his views, he doesn't say he suddenly wants to get rid of social security or medicaid, he wants to create a situation where people aren't dependent on the government and therefor don't need the government to provide it first.
I'm not saying I agree with the poistion, but at least get your facts straight before you slander someone.
RevolutionaryJam 4 years ago
RevolutionaryJam, what the heck are you talking about? First of all I wrote "wants to dismantle the social safety nets and institutions of the last 80 years" AND THAT IS A FACT. Just because he wants to do it gradually doesn't mean I "didn't get my facts straight" YES Paul wants to dismantle the social safety nets and institutions, so what if he doesn't want to "suddenly get rid of them" I DID NTO SAY HE DID, BUT he does want to get rid of them and that is extreme and totally unacceptable.

"What exactly has Ron Paul lied about?"
judoskeleton, I put what he lied about in quotes, it is the example I give right after I say he is a liar, He claims: "The government has nothing, produces nothing" That is a lie. He is such an extremist with his version of "libertarianism", the one dominant here in America, which is this bizarre unbridled capitalism whose adherents deny basic realities, the example I pointed out above is just one of them.
representativepress 4 years ago
meaning that the gov has nothing, produces nothing that it doesn't take from individuals through taxation, it's hardly a lie if he believes it when he says it, u could say he was inaccurate or wrong, but calling him a liar for one statement is akin to me calling u a slanderer (which I didn't do, i only addressed u on 1 issue)

But I have seen this guy in action, I resent him spreading falsehoods.
representativepress 4 years ago
For the damage Ron Paul is doing, I think it is nitpicking to insist that EVERY single time I must mention that maybe he is just ignorant. Usually when a politician tells a falsehood people accept the characterization of "liar," So why give me such a hard time? And I pointed out the example of the TVA, yet you ignore it and respond with a capitalist talking point.
representativepress 4 years ago
Most people are against the war, it is illogical to think I must refrain my accurate criticisms of Paul just because he is against it. And does he even know it was a crime? Why isn't he calling for impeachment? How "good" is he? Paul has horribly destructive ideas, those need to be pointed out. I am not going to be silent just because he is against a particular war. For God sakes, he is trying to get into a very powerful position from which he could do a lot of harm.
representativepress 4 years ago
ok I understand ur position & I respect it - just cause he's against the war doesn't mean u shouldn't lay into him for economic policies.
RevolutionaryJam 4 years ago
Hey reppress, just one thing, don't mean to resume this argument because I understand we don't share the same opinion and I respect that, but on this video at about 8:58 Paul does indeed say "and it's illegal under international law", so he does acknowledge that it's a crime:
watch?v=nBnOUe7QclI
I agree that he should be calling for impeachment.
RevolutionaryJam 4 years ago
It is obvious that you don't agree with Ron Paul. That does not make it a lie. The fundamental difference between social liberals and libertarians has a lot to do with this statement. Social liberals believe that the government has to protect people and provide liberty as it is encroached upon by larger forces. I personally believe that the government is now used as a tool of these forces against liberty.
judoskeleton 4 years ago
Your response to the quote seems a little out of context as I don't think you may not fully understand Ron Paul's "version" of libertarianism. This is the biggest difference between Gravel and Paul.
judoskeleton 4 years ago
agreed, it's a difference in opinions over what teh role of government should be.
RevolutionaryJam 4 years ago

Please stop undermining my channel by falsely creating the impression that I am "slandering" someone or "not getting facts straight."
representativepress 4 years ago
i do not feel i am creating that impression, i gave an opinion and your viewers are intelligent and informed enough to agree or disagree with it, again, you know i respect you and often leave you with encouraging comments, please respect my imput as well even if you don't agree with it because it's not like I've ever called you a name, been rude to you or spoken disrespectfully, which is less than I can say for some people...
RevolutionaryJam 4 years ago
"i do not feel i am creating that impression"
well you are when your write: "at least get your facts straight before you slander someone."
You have said nice things in the past, this was not one of them. Sorry but I don't respect your statement, it sabotages my mission.

I don't know much but i tough Mike Gravel and Ron Paul were on the same page.
How come your saying not to vote for Paul?
Cragnous 4 years ago
Representative press should acknowledge that in primaries registered democrats vote only democrat and registered republicans vote only for republican candidates. Promoting the republicans to vote for Ron Paul will not affect democrats supporting Gravel at all. They are both candidates, why can't we have good candidates in both sides? The president won't be chosen until the primaries are over after all.
werebear1 4 years ago
werebear1, Ron Paul is NOT good. Ron Paul is an extremist who wants to dismantle programs and institutions which labor has fought so hard for. I will have to make a video explain all the "free market" propaganda and "rugged individualism" BS.
representativepress 4 years ago
I have been quite supportive of you since your start. Ron Paul is against the Federal reserve which is the main reason why we have been involved in countless wars and conflicts since WW1 and the reason why we are drowning in taxes. The candidate you recommend as an alternative is supporting the Bush "Annapolis" solution which was doomed to fail from day zero since Israel wants to control everything from Egypt to Iraq. His intentions are good, but not as complete or encompassing as Paul's.
werebear1 4 years ago
he is a good candidate and voting for him TO RAISE HIS PROFILE is worthwhile enough because he tackles THE FED, the war, wider US foreign policy that no one else touches upon on the right, corporatism (ie. gov collusion with capital+welfare to capitalist interests), military industrial complex, pharmaceutical industrial complex, etc.
Fact is he wont win, I don't understand why you won't give the man his dues for exposing what he does to people who wouldn't listen to it from the left!

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Warning! A level headed democrat would not vote for Gravel! I question the intentions of representativepress! representativepress is dividing the democrats and is urging people to vote for someone without any realistic chance of winning ! Your support of gravel will help the republicans! Nothing against Gravel though!
mota307 4 years ago
Your statement shows you done no research. Hillary and Obama might as well be a neocon as there intentions are to stretch the war past 2013. A vote for Hillary = A vote for Obama = A vote for Mccain... no difference, just more war for profit. Mike Gravel is the only anti war democrat not being funded by the Military Industral Complex. Please learn your facts mota307 before you post something stupid again.
kyeot 4 years ago 2
I am a human before I am an American. And I am an American before I am a democrat. I am no longer a democrat; the party has sold themselves out. They are beholden to the military-industrial complex and represent continued American imperialism. I contend that it makes perfect sense for a level-headed HUMAN to vote for Gravel. He is going all the way to November unlike Ron Paul or Kucinich. However, perhaps your statement is correct, as I suppose you could call Democratic loyalists inhuman.
ChannelMikeG 4 years ago
all im saying is choose the lesser of two evils, sounds simple enough doesnt it? however with the division i see in the democratic party/supporters ... im losing hope!
mota307 4 years ago
Yeah, choose evil sounds simple enough when you embrace corporate fascism. :P
ChannelMikeG 4 years ago 2
totally agree with you, the situation sucks! but what are you gonna do about it? let the republicans win (again)?
mota307 4 years ago
Both sides Democrats and Republicans are being financed (where bought) by the same interest groups and bound by affidavits. McCain is financed and stands for exactly the same as Hillary and Obama. The only candidates that where not bought by interest groups where Dennis Kucinich, Mike Gravel and Ron Paul. An example; Democrats got majority seats because they promised to end the war. They could have done it but did not because most of them where bound by conflicting affidavits. They Lied to US.
werebear1 4 years ago
I am going to work at helping people to realize that the solution lies with the people, not our broken representative government.
Democrats, Republicans. It's all "good cop, bad cop". Either way the corporations win. Clinging to this corrupt system is a slave mentality that must be unlearned.
ChannelMikeG 4 years ago 5
agreed people need to start getting off their butts and doing shit to make the world better instead of relying on politicians
RevolutionaryJam 4 years ago
Why not vote Paul? Even thought Gravel gets down to some real root problems, he doesn't do so to the extent of Paul...
swanseaboy 4 years ago
Fuck you and Fuck Ron Paul. McCain already got the nomination and he's not even thinking of running as an independent, Ron Paul also stated in his website that he shrunk the size of his national campaign.
Deal with it and vote for someone who is actually staying on race no matter what.
intOwnSvoid 4 years ago
Hey, no need to get so aggressive with me.
I am simply saying Gravel and Paul are fighting for similar things, so i don't see why he is saying not to vote for Paul.
Gravel has a lesser chance than Paul, but even so you should vote for who you believe in.
Paul is staying until the end.
swanseaboy 4 years ago
intOwnSvoid: Paul is staying in the race you bonehead. He has a better chance than Gravel. The reason he shrunk his
campaign down a notch is because he has to have people in his district for his Congressional campaign that is coming up.
As far as representative press, It is very wrong of you not to support Paul when you supported Kucinich before.
MrMP81 4 years ago
you are living in Denial. McCain has already won. If you don't want to accept that fact, I sure hope you don't kill yourself after he announces his dropping out soon.
He could have a chance as an independent not as a rep.
intOwnSvoid 4 years ago
Yeah. He'll fix everything. More war. More spending. More government. More corporate wellfare. More of the same will be so nice.
judoskeleton 4 years ago
Ron Paul can identify a problem but offers no solutions. Uttering the words consitution is not a solution swaneaboy, government is corrupt we need to take the power from the one percent rich and empower the people as lawmakers on a nation level via the NI4D, Mike Gravels plan for real change. Besides Ron Pauls dropping out, you might want to consider voting for Gravel.
kyeot 4 years ago 2
Ron Paul made it very clear that he is not dropping out. Get off the crack pipe.
He does offer solutions, Maybe if you would look passed the fact that he is a Republican and look at his solutions, you would see he is the only one with a " Logical " solution to todays problems.
What you are saying is to take from the rich and give to the poor, That is the most disgusting thing I have ever heard and the biggest problem the Democrats have. They are Socialists. This is " The Republic Of the U.S."
MrMP81 4 years ago
depends how the rich made their money whether it is disgusting or not. If they made it exploiting others they don't deserve a single penny.
