Very nice playing! Great dynamics. There is one note you play incorrectly throughout the 2:34 section. It is the 9th note in the sequence and you are playing C instead of C#. The same thing for the 2nd half of this part too. I don't have any sheet music to verify but I confirmed with the original. Great playing regardless though!
@sutherlandan I'm not sure if I caught it, but I was much younger (and a lot worse at piano I might add haha) when I recorded this, so you are probably right! I hope I've fixed it since then...
dhcrazy333, very nice. better than most of the young players on utube. watch the left hand on the dotted quarter notes, its a bit harsh for such soft flowing song. clean up a few of the mistakes. page 3, line 3, pay attention to the timing, most folks i've watched on utube 'express' themselves so much that this section does not 'flow'. good job on page 2, line 5. lastly, imho, i would exagerate the 'rit.' measures a lot more, i think it'd be more expressive. great job!
@fopola thanks for the input. In all honesty, I am much better now than when I played this haha. I probably should do another upload, but thats ok. Thanks again for the constructive criticism!
lol Ludovico's music is indeed too hard for beginners. I don't know too many piano musicians names. Everytime i hear a song i enjoy i dont know how to search for that song. No lyrics makes it the more difficult to find.
Well apparently this is one of the songs i REALLY wanna learn... but it seems too difficult... atm haha. I really wanna pick up quicker. Any songs you recommend? I dont know of many pianist players. I usually listen to Ludovico, and that's pretty much it.
And thanks for the advice ^_^ ill be sure to keep that in mind.
@ethanpang well yes it is a little more difficult if you are just starting out, but an easier ludovico I would recomend is Primavera if you are interested. I am not too sure of your skill level though, for most beginners Ludovico stuff is too difficult.
Ive been playing for about 10ish years? I havnt taken lessons in about the past 5, and honestly I've progressed more teaching myself.
Words of advice. Play songs you WANT to play. When I had lessons I always had to play songs I didnt care about and it just didnt help me improve at all. When you pick songs you want to play, you dont realy think of it as practice but u enjoy yourself and it helps you learn much better =]
