People are judging this game based on the players at gstar. They probably weren't very knowledgeable about Gunz in the first place, meaning they don't really know what all the moves were like. It's very disrespectful to the creators of this game, who worked hard to finally make this in their image.

Remember how the first Gunz was like? Trust me, it was very much like how Gunz 2 is beginning. Most people weren't using all the movements for a while, until they started to experiment and discover.

K style was what made the game, you had to be really skilled to be able to do well, it made it fun as there was a lot of competition, you could never have a noob fluking a kill on an experienced player. There was a big difference in achievement and reward between a good and bad player, if you were bad you were forced to adapt and learn. I just wish they kept the k style the same, to be faithful to the players who liked the first game and made it prosperous.

The k-style and 'speed-tapping on the keyboard' is what makes GunZ 1 such an enjoyable and challenging game.

I don't think that people realize this is supposed to be a completely new game; and as a completely new game the mechanics will be different from the prequel; it's supposed to be like that. They are taking what made the game fun and improving on it, while improving game-play performance by removing what made people leave the game: Kstyle. I, personally, am glad they fixed the glitches because I'd rather not spend years of my life perfecting a glitch to be considered "pro". Good work, Maiet.

From the very first time i saw the initial trailor for gunz the 2nd duel....i instantly thought....its gona blow x.x because from the simple image and look from the guy with the sword bent backwards?? and the way he dashes...they dont even use the sword to wall climb anymore they dash towards it....and no more bf or any k style related moves pretty much.....on 1 of the new trailors the girl is swinging a sword and it looks so stupid x.x and stabbing with it like come on MAIET u can do better

Overall....gunz 2 fails to me simply because it wont be the challenging 1 of a kind pvp online player game that it once was....alot of players would have been so much happier with just some simple add on's....like more maps more weapons and items to be gotten more challenging quest battles and bosses....more in depth maps....and also more in game playing types...like capture the flag or....take over stuff like that...but a whole new completely changed interface? no way....

So far, only the release of Taiwan, Macao, and Hong Kong during the third or fourth quarter of 2012 is confirmed. Since GunZ 2 is receiving lots of attentions from many game publishers of different territories, we hope to be able to release regarding additional officially servicing territory by early next year.

kStyle from GunZ 1 will not be included in GunZ 2. We acknowledge that kStyle would have enhanced the popularity of GunZ 1 but it is also true that it holds many derivative problems. And also we doubt for the necessity to keep kStyle since GunZ 2 will have totally new tactics and controls.
