Toyota Motor Sales USA seems to think that anyone buying a performance version of any of their cars wants a sunroof to look cool. That was the irst thing I welded when I converted this car for Rallying.
I have a 84 ae86 coupe tjats in that good of shape and has only 145000 original miles great car to drift and have fun with i drift salt lake city utahs free way system all the time
Forgive me for correcting you but thats a 1985-86 model , those rims and those type of leters only came in 85-86 models (wich by far is the better of the GTS series) the 1987 models came with small lettering on the doors , and different rims (ugly stars lookalike) , you my friend have a rare mint condition GT-S withs sunroof and a redtop engine (TVIS) ,4:11 diferential with LSD, ITS A GEM!!! take care of it , and if you ever wanna sell it , just let me know , ill buy it!!!! Peace out!
@the13joker You are 100% correct in that this vehicle is a 1985 Corolla GTS Twin-Cam. I believe in 1986 they color matched the spoiler (among other things).
The reference to 1987 is that is when the video was shot.. I see how that could be misunderstood do to my poor grammar so I have made a change to the title.
Thanks for pointing this out. :-) You are truly an AE86 fan...
Hey! Awesome video! thats a good looking '85 hatchback! My dad has a coupe in the same colour! We even still have the yoko A008 tires on the factory wheels!!
Was this vid taken in Redding CA?

Sweet GT-S. have you done anything as far as tuning it?
Cerebral88 3 years ago
That video was from 22 years ago.
I did do some minor stuff like removed the catalytic converter, and some TRD stuff.
As for suspension, Tokico adjustable shocks. Shock tower brace, skid plates, etc.
And if I remember right, I was on Yoko, A008R street tires. made the thing feel like it had 400hp in the dirt. Slippery and fun.
