Great highlights video, nice to hear the riders' thoughts inter-cut with clips of their rounds. Did you provide official footage for the FEI [the scoreboard made me think this]? As always love seeing your videos, what other editing are you involved in outside equestrian sport?

@TheBlackHorse92 Thanks! Yep, we provide footage for the FEI (you would be able to watch it on the FEI TV website I believe) and apart from that we also include their logos because they're a major sponsor and..well, their money has to get them something! Apart from Post & Rail Creative (which does just equestrian videos), I run Nook Films with my partner; we do everything from commercials to short films to promotional videos and everything in between. I love it :)

@postandrailcreative It must be great working with a huge organisation like the FEI, lots of responsibility though I guess!! Sounds like Nook Films gives you plenty of scope to be creative, must be awesome doing this for a living!

@BeachHorses369 Thank you so much for your lovely feedback, I'm glad you enjoy the videos :) To answer your question - kind of, I do have a fine arts degree but I've also been working as an editor for about 4 years now (doing lots of things, not just horse videos.) I am very lucky, it's a great job that I really enjoy :)

Thanks very much, glad you enjoyed it! We use Sony EX1 cameras (up to 10 of them at an event sometimes!) and yes tripods definitely...worth lugging them around xcountry to get smooth shots :)

wow this is incredible! i watched the whole thing. i love the couple of clips in cross country that have the horses hooves splashing in the water in slow motion...genious! amazing as usual can't wait for part two!

Oh yes, I forgot that you were going to be there - how did your footage turn out? Super I'm sure :) As well as the showjumping from the eventing, we've got an Episode 3 coming out late next week which covers just the straight sj competition.

As regular as possible - I do a lot of other film work that keeps me pretty busy, but I always love doing the horsey jobs - they keep me from missing actually riding too much! :)

Haha yes I know - they're great cameras..a good compromise between quality and portability (nothing like lugging a 20kg camera up and down hills on xc!)
