my husband's gonna love this video. Hope you don't mind if i download them all and share. He's been wanting to make one and this is one of the best videos i've seen. Thanks so much and beautiful dog by the way : )
@artsychic2000 I don't mind, as long as they're not uploaded back onto the internet. If you're going to share my videos over the net, I'd prefer that you link to them.
Thanx for the kind words. Its appreciated.
OH, and I didn't get the project completed before winter. Its going to be built inside a modified, stainless steel, salvaged walk-in cooler from a restaurant.
@frigginwidowmaker no...just want to download it so he can refer to it later. He doesn't know it yet but he's building one ; ) Would be good to have it sheltered. I'm sure zoning against these things is only a matter of time. Once it's there there shouldn't be much they can do.
@frigginwidowmaker i would appreciate that very much. My husband does quality work so i appreciate it when i see it : ) email is artsy underscore chic 2000 at yahoo dot ca. Looking forward to seeing them
Friggin.... Awesome! You rock bro! Im off to your next project! Im subscribed and got my boy watching your work! You cut to the chase and your explaination and camera work is great! Thank you for giving us ideas!!!
What a kick ass project! Frigginwidomaker, your cuts and welds look awesome too! I love it when somebody knows what they're doing with welding machines and big steel projects!!! Im off to part 2!!!!!!!
@ColtDeltaElite10mm Don't forget to check out my newest project "redneck rat rod". Finished part 2 last night. It has way better fabrication and welding. If you watch the teaser video, you'll see the 4 vehicles that get built into one!
Thanx for the comments. The outdoor furnace should be up and running in about a week... stay tuned :)
Yea I was just doing research and never expected to find a build using the same tank that I had. Really weird that you posted this 3 days before I started looking. Guess it was meant to be. I sent you a message with my email address and am looking forward to your video today.
I have this very same tank and was searching for ideas on how to build my own outdoor wood furnace out of it. Do you have any plans drawn up that you might be willing to share? Looks like you are doing a great job, and fast to. That is probably 2 1/2 days for me. Please keep the pictures coming.
I have the plans in my head, I'll draw them out on paper w/ measurements etc. for you, if you want, just send me your email addy and I'll get them out to you in the next couple days. FYI I'm going to be finishing the furnace tomorrow and posting the video. Once the furnace is completed w/ fireproof air exchanger, I'll be starting on the room that'll enclose it and start routing the ducting with in/out blowers. Stay tuned and thanx for the compliment :)
@frigginwidowmaker Also, the video is pretty vague. I'm basically just showing my design(after researching other's builds for DAYS). I think I've taken the best of all builds and put the ideas into one. Wasn't really planning on anyone having the exact same tank.
If you would like a better pic of, or better explanation of anything... PLEASE, do not hesitate to ask. I learned everything I know from asking questions and having them answered by kind people willing to share their knowledge.
@frigginwidowmaker I dont mind watching your videos with this camera but Its mainly the microphone I don't like. Im just wondering what are you editing with?
I am using Microsoft Movie Maker for now. I needed something free and simple to figure out. I'm not much with computers, cameras, and editing... yet. I'm working on it though.
I'm going to find a better program and start looking for a better camera this weekend.
The mic and audio levels drive me NuTz too! I've been a rave DJ for over a decade and sound levels are important to me... unfortunately, Movie Maker won't allow me to normalize the volumes!
@frigginwidowmaker I know a good video editing software is Sony vegas but it costs alot(Thats what I use for mine and my brothers channel) and isn't that simple compared to windows movie maker. Since I bought the ipod touch 4g Thats what ive been using for a video camera but before I used a Jazz HDV178(I think we got it from canadian tire for $150 and its 720p)

U THINK THAT GRATE IS STRONG ENOUGH TO CARRY THE WEIGHT AND THE HEAT OF THE WOOD? LOOKS ALITTLE THIN BUT WHO MIGHT JUST DO THE JOB GOOD VID BUD

@danielcisneros1321
I think it would have bent down from heat and weight... thats why I welded the supports beneath. I think it'll be ok now.
