fucking hell, everytime i watch this intro I find more badass shit going on in it. Everything is there to be badass. This is like a testament to how you do a saturday morning cartoon intro. Hook em and let em come back years later to see that what you did was extremely well thought out.

I am a true 80 cartoon fan. I watched everything from Thundarr, Superfriends,Smurfs, D&D,TurboTeen,Mighty-Orbots, Galaxy High etc.I always gave Transformers the series the #1 edge over everything. Thundercats and GI Joe always made my top 5 list. However, If I had to give an award for best 80s cartoon intro, I would have to give it to Thundercats! I mean if you put yourself in a kids mind, it really gets you pumped up to see this show!

damn. the quality of character design and animation went down the fucking toilet by the mid 90s. every action character, including the new version of the ninja turtles are boxy looking, perpetually angry and emotional to the point of seeming locker room homoerotic and everyone on the team is a fighter. no 'brain' or 'recon' guys anymore. either that or trying way too hard to be japanese anime.

There's no one getting upper cutted through roofs or turning SD or any of that moronic shit that something like Teen Titans pretends to be.
