I always liked the soundtrack and movie of Rent, but never REALLY knew the history of it and jonathan larson etc. I starting OBSESSING over it around the beginning of february 2010. It ended its Broadway tour two weeks after I started revolving my life around the soundtrack, and the live on broadway dvd of it.... fml. i wanna see it live SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BAD!!!!!!!!! worst timing ever! :( i spend all my time watching youtube videos of rent....... at 3 AM. nice. there are many different casts, like the original broadway cast, then the broadway cast which changes all the time, and the national tour cast, and I'm sure there is a london/UK cast. does that help?

yeah. there was the original broadway cast. then the "other" broadway cast which didn't have anthony rapp or adam pascal. that's also when justin and michael became angel and collins. and then theres the newest touring cast (this one) which has anthony and adam but still has michael and justin

Saw this mere hours ago in Pittsburgh. The Cast and performance was incredible. Anthony and Adam did their usual immaculate jobs at Mark and Rodger respectively. Additionally, Michael McElroy's smooth tones came together to make the best Collins since Jesse Martin. However, Justin Johnston definitely stole the show.

the show was perfectly sublime from start to finish, and you should all be proud of yourself for the amazing show (and from what I hear equally amazing tour).
