Mariucci is a bitch. He is not a Michigander, so dont try to sound like one. You are wisconsin. That's it scumbag. Shit coach too. didnt develop any players, didnt assess the team's needs. Must have been nice having people think you could coach soley because you walked into a situation with young and rice.

The coach knew what he was talking about and I hope he comes back to the game. Mike Singletary seems like a good fit for the Niners....discipline was out the window under Nolan. It won't be now.

@ViciousAlienKlown Discipline won't get you very far without good schemes...the offense had no identity under Singletary and Nolan....maybe now they will put together some successful years

@timo092601 If you look, my comment was over two years ago. Singletary did bring back discipline but lacked the West Coast offense. Harbaugh uses the West Coast offense so hes a good fit for the 49ers. Lets see in 2 years how this works out.

The lions were too impatient with him. He's a great coach who has worked with legends throughout his career.(Brett Farve, Steve Young, Jerry Rice, etc..) But hey i guess Marinelli was an upgrade?

Other than Greg Williams and Bill Cowher, Mooch was the one guy I would have been content with as the head coach of the Washington Redskins, following Joe Gibbs 2nd tenure.
Then out of nowhere comes this man named Jim Zorn....whom I believe is a better man for the job.
