I feel like, the song itself is so warm, while lyrically, its about being detached; and in that way the other video suited it better because it had a much colder feel. However, i feel like this version is much more personal, & has a more warm atmosphere because of the contrast, and ambience of the scene. However the way that shes edited into the scene, as well as the falling-and-catching at the end, still give it almost a bit of an eerie touch. Love this song, Love this artist, love this video.

Respectfully disagree. While the official video seems better in cinematic terms, this expresses Heap's style and intent more clearly I think that some malleable director did a marketing director's bidding by putting her in that ludicrous outfit, and having her race in a hamster cage, and that she did it out of her good will and desire to see her career go on. Thhis 'Party' version is far closer to the Imogen Heap we know from her blogs

Ok, you're right, this video won't win any awards but I like it anyway! Having said that, you could wear a brown bag and stand against a white wall and I'd still say it was a great video. For the record, I think the original video is excellent and possibly captures the emotional sentiment behind the track more so than the new version. Critics are often wrong though!

I love Immi's WTF look at 1:18! I think this is a better version, to be honest. At least, I like it better. I think it conveys the lyrics and the elements in the arrangement a lot better, as well as slipping in some clever film effects. Much more like a party you can't wait to leave!

Ok, you're right, this video won't win any awards but I like it anyway! Having said that, you could wear a brown bag and stand against a white wall and I'd still say it was a great video. For the record, I think the original video is excellent and possibly captures the emotional sentiment behind the track more so than the new version. Critics are often wrong though!

I love Immi's WTF look at 1:18! I think this is a better version, to be honest. At least, I like it better. I think it conveys the lyrics and the elements in the arrangement a lot better, as well as slipping in some clever film effects. Much more like a party you can't wait to leave!
