I totally agree. This is his best song. Beautiful! I have never heard it performed so well by anyone. I think its because Scotty has such *soul* and really feels the words. His sincerity comes across. I dont understand why they are not having him sing THE RIVER on tour. I would stand in line for two days and two nights in the rain to hear Scotty sing this song live.

This is my favorite song that he did on American Idol. It was a perfect for his voice. I love Garth and I think Scotty does his songs justice. Just remember he was only 17 when he did this. In a few years, he is going to be one of the top country singers in this country. Mark my word.

This song was soo good! He completely deserved to win! The song he sang with Tim McGraw Hands Down Proved it. I was a scotty fan from his audition and he was my fabourite the whole season cant wait for his album. :)

Seriously? This is the winner of American Idol? I mean, he's alright, he's not terrible, but he's just got an average voice, nothing special. I feel like a one dimensional signer (can only do specific style of country) like him would have been out by the top 10-8 in previous seasons.

Idol has really declined. Probably why the last season with a plantinum selling alum was three years ago. Oh well, he seems like a nice guy, but honestly just an okay singer.
