  • i'd suggest not having a really rough bar when you're placing your wrist on it, it could easily bruise or get cut.

    How do you do high pull ups?

  • Hi!! It seems so easy... :)) "seems"! I have a question for you...I'm 30, and I'm not fat but my weight is 84Kg (for 1,84 m) and I have, for costitution, the lower part of body more heavy than the higher so it's hard for me to do 2-3 pull-up (I'm a "true" beginner...). So Have you some basic exercise (VERY basic, I've seen some your videos! :) ) to fortify arms, pectoral and shoulders?Have you some "special" push up for me in advice? :D I'm trying whit body building but it's so boring!Thank you!

  • @TheF0rtress Yes, I did, thank you. I've seen something like that in others videos. I tried in the morning in the park. To be effective I must go back home "whitout arms" isn't it? :) I think I need a strong training with push-up too..

    Does doing weighted chinups help? im hanging about 8 kilograms under my kness and doing 8 standard chinups. Pls help me thxs.

  • @TheF0rtress do u also go to the gym? because im afraid if i were to try and learn this calisthenics workout thing, going to the gym will just add more muscle mass to areas which i dont need and end up draggign me down in the level of calsthenics

  • @TheF0rtress for some reason I couldn't hold the bar at the position that you recommended... I know I have strong grip.. able to do 10 chin up with a 45 lbs plate with good form, but some how I always fail to do the M.U wth!!??

  • @lordbuda it was hard for me too i learned it for 1 month but i didnt knew the right way so when u 1 hand over than u must to take ur all power to get over the bar ur breast and take ur another hand over .. and ur ready :]

  • Thanks Paul for a good tutorial, and I've watched a bunch-I just put a pullup and parallel bars in my back yard, so I'm too tired from digging holes and cementing to try your tips out today. But I know it will help-glad to see you drop a bit on the negative muscle up-I drop like a stone-Cheers,

  • I just subscribed to you, and got my first muscle up today after numerous failed attempts. I used a combination of the kip plus one arm at a time to do it. I can't do a high pullup or chest to bar pullup though. Do you have any tips on that? If I go chest to bar, my body is not upright but it's tilted under the bar.

  • What's the difference of the close-grip muscleups Hannibal is doing amd the normal ones that are a bit weider? Also tell me which muscle groups each one trains.

  • @TheMassacre1OO closer is much harder, trains the same muscle group, but you must have explosive strength to do those. Regular muscle ups do not require explosive strength.

  • Excellent tutorial with thorough and thoughtful explanation. Although, unless you dial it back a bit, in the short time it takes to reach 1000, you'll no longer be able to disguise yourself as Clark Kent!

  • The best MU tutorial, a lot of time will be spend to understand all this by yourself.
