Thank you sooooo very much, this is a very touching video. It depicts the hearts of the genuine nurses with purpose and encourages us so much. Sometimes, as a nurse we feel we can't do enough when we are working so hard to make a difference in one persons life, it gets so hard, all we can do is say a quiet prayer, wipe away a tear and try to cover our own inner pain as we try to comfort and nurse those around us. I can't say thank you enough for your support....I LOVE BEING A NURSE!!!!

I'm in the "trenches" with patient care, though I am not a nurse (I'm a Respiratory Therapist). I've also had 2 knees replaced, so I've been on the other side of the bed, too. Let me tell you, the nurse is the backbone, heart and soul of the health care professions, They do more to take care of people than you'll ever know, the most important is being an advocate who stands between the patient and the lethal potential of medicine. My hat is off to each and every one of them. G-d bless you all.

Most nurses that I've dealt with have a marginal grasp of English, don't want to be "bothered" by patients, or spend more time texting rather than doing their jobs. Yes, nurses must do more for less, take pay cuts, blah blah blah. My question is "Who doesn't?" Stop singling yourselves out as gods and martyrs. Most nurses are crabby old witches or young women who have zero skills or social graces. Remember--YOU SIGNED UP TO BE A NURSE. I give the video a 10 on the cheesefest scale.

funnny thing about males and nursing. the first nurses were all males. it wasnt until about 150 years ago it went to a "female" profession. most first nurses were monks.

I am a nurse who does work hard, speaks English and can pronounce Penicillin. I give my patients 110% every shift. Nurses are there for their patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We are expected to do more for less, take pay and benefit cuts and do so without ever losing site of what is important OUR PATIENTS. Instead of bashing them try thanking them. What a huge steaming pile of dog crap. Half the nurses I have dealt with barely speak English. The other half would rather spend the effort fighting you than doing their jobs. At least the foreign nurses are willing to work. Unfortunately, they can't pronounce important words like "penicillin". The male nurses are the worst. They are homosexuals, wannabes, angels of death and foreign doctors who can't pass the boards in the USA.
