If you want to see Jesus; if you want to see God; you will find them both in the Beatitudes. To begin to understand God one needs to adopt a position of humbleness. To understand Jesus one needs to adopt a position of acceptance and obedience. When we become humble, we are ready to accept, and by our acceptance we are ready to obey. Then we will have no use for the things of this world and will be truly born again of the spirit.
